SHEEPLE! Your Time Has Come!

Okay that headline was sensationalism but seriously the term "sheeple" has been wide tossed around in more forums then just ATS and to what effect? What have you done so differently that special you is so above your fellow sheep, a veritable Shepard among.. well... the flock. Sound off sheeple tossers and let's hear how your so above the fray. I think we can all agree that simply tossing out the term sheeple early and often alone may well indicate you as a sheeple yourself.

Maybe instead of just tossing out "sheeple this" "sheeple that" you could elaborate on how they are not critically engaging the subject.

Then again maybe I am just another sheeple? Bah

It is funny how the term sheeple is used in this forum.

It is used as an insult to those of us who do not buy into the whole conspiracy BS, when it is them who are the sheeple.

They follow the latest conspiracy and are led around like little sheep...by who ever is pushing the latest BS theory...AKA the Shepard.

Sheeple, to my way of thinking, are people who accept appearance as being real. Instead of looking into what is really going on, they just watch the mainstream media and take it in as if it were gospel. Then, if someone tells them, what it really is,that it's bull#, they get all defensive. To me, that's a sheep.

Then why are so many people tossing the S word here on ATS? Certifiably these forums are full of people that DO NOT go with the grain on every topic. If you have a better definition cite it.

Sheople is the more accurate reminder of do u really believe the propaganda ur gov't has been feeding you? do u really need to spend spend spend on useless crap? do u really need to stampede and trample people to death esp on black friday for even more crap?? do u really need to supersize it and waste food while millions of others starve to death? do u really need all that processed food? kids swearing and killing at 3yo wth do u all really have to give into pop/american culture, peer pressure and substance dependency sooooo easily??

lemmings would be another descriptor if only it melded as well as sheep with "people"

I don't really point it out to others, but one can easily spot the behaviour if one is looking for it.

Sheep or sheeple: A term used by an anonymous internet forum user to make his or her self appear to be smarter than others with absolutely no way to prove such a claim.

It's called a conspiracy THEORY for a reason. That's what it is. One who chooses to believe in a specific conspiracy theory and comment on it, is espousing an OPINION. However, you don't want to go questioning their "facts" lest you be called the dreaded sheep.

Mainly, it's used by the tools of the conspiracy world.

So instead of calling someone a "sheeple", now they should be called "Lemores!"

I have to agree that the name "sheeple" get's handed out quite bit on here. Someone posts a YouTube video, and their only comment is "Proof!". A poster comes along and debates that "proof" with research of their own, including many links and quotes, and get's called a "Sheeple", even though there are 15 other people in between the posts mostly and blindly going "Yes! You're right OP!"

Seems to me that it's those 15 posters that are being sheeple. The least they could do is post why they feel that way.
