Sorry Mods if this is the wrong place to ask. I am trying to find a retirement/farewell speech given by a newspaper editor (I believe editor, maybe
owner) that took place around the 50's/60's. He basically said the press was controlled, everything printed the government had a say in, and if the
citizens only knew the truth - something along those lines. I remember reading it a couple years ago but cannot seem to find it. Id appreciate the
help if anyone knows.
