Lurker coming out of the shadows...

Hey everyone,

I've been looking around the site for the past couple months. What initial drew me here was it seemed to be one of the places to get information on Ron Paul (I'm a registered libertarian) that the MSM wasn't showing.

I'm a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. AF (Ret 1 Nov 2011) and spent my entire career in U.S. Space Command. I have an interest in just about all the topics here (except ghost, not really my thing).

I read a lot, like 3-4 books a week. Mainly Sci-Fi, Fantasy, post-apocalyptic and zombies.

Currently not employed because I'm starting school in the fall to get another B.S., this one in Mechanical Engineering. Some current projects I have going on are building a chicken coop and some raised bed gardens, rain barrels, solar and wind power and basically seeing how self-sufficient I can be on 1/4 acres of land.
