Resistance attack at dawn in al-Qa�im Tuesday kills three US troops.
At dawn on Tuesday the Iraqi Resistance used a C5K to strike a US Humvee near the governorate building in al-Qa�im city on the border with Syria. The
vehicle was totally destroyed in the blast. Three US soldiers were killed and two others wounded.
Immediately after the attack a US Black Hawk helicopter began shooting at anything that moved in the vicinity of the attack, wounding three
civilians.
Four US troops killed in afternoon ambush in al-Qa�im.
At 5:00pm Tuesday afternoon Iraqi Resistance forces fired rocket-propelled grenades at a US military fuel tank truck and a Humvee on the road between
al-Qa�im and Hanah, killing at least four US troops, according to the al-Qa�im correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.
Resistance knocks out three US Bradley armored vehicles in al-Qa�im.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column on the Iraqi-Syrian border Tuesday morning, destroying several US military vehicles and probably
inflicting casualties.
The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a column of six US Bradley armored vehicles was attacked by Resistance fighters firing
SPJ9s and rocket-propelled grenades in al-Qa�im, destroying three Bradleys and killing all aboard. (Bradleys usually have a crew of four.) The other
vehicles managed to flee.
The US column was on its way to the scene of fighting between the Resistance and US aggressor troops 25km away from where it was ambushed.
Resistance missile hits US transport plan, forcing it to land on fire.
A US C-130 transport plane at 7:00am Tuesday morning local time came under Iraqi Resistance fire from a Strela missile. The missile struck the
airplane on its left side setting it on fire and forcing it to land at the US-occupied al-Qa�im airport on the border between Syria and Iraq.
Seven US troops killed in Resistance attack in al-Qa�im early Tuesday morning.
US aggressor forces seized control of one of the Iraqi houses in the Makr adh-Dhib area of al-Qa�im on the border with Syria and turned the home into
a barracks for themselves, according to the al-Qa�im correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam. At 5:30am local time, Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the
house with about fourteen 82mm mortar rounds, then they opened up with rocket-propelled grenades and BKC automatic weapons fire. The attack totally
demolished the structure, setting the wreckage ablaze.
Seven US troops were killed inside the house and two Humvees were also destroyed in the attack. The Resistance fighters also managed to take away the
Americans� weapons before the house completely caught fire.
Three US troops killed near ar-Ramadi Tuesday morning.
Iraqi Resistance bombs blew up under a US patrol made up of four Humvees and one Bradley armored vehicle on the ar-Ramadi � ar-Rabtah highway. One of
the Humvees was destroyed in the blast and two US troops killed. Three other American soldiers were injured in the ambush that took place at 8:30am
local time Tuesday morning.
Five US intelligence officers killed on Baghdad�s Hayfa Street sparking battle.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired rockets at two American vehicles belonging to US intelligence on Hayfa Street in Baghdad, killing five persons believed
to be US intelligence officers. One of the destroyed GMC vehicles was a white 2000 model Land Cruiser
The Baghdad correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that American forces rushed to rescue the intelligence officers, sending six Bradley armored
vehicles into Hayfa Street after them. Battles then erupted as the Resistance fighters met them with rocket-propelled grenades and BKCs. The
fighting was still under way when the correspondent filed his report, posted at 12:00 noon Mecca time (1:00pm local time in Baghdad).
Hayfa Street battle rages into Tuesday afternoon.
In a dispatch posted at 1:40pm Mecca time (2:40pm Baghdad time) the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting was still
under way on Hayfa Street in the occupied Iraqi capital. US tanks and Bradley armored vehicles are involved in the fighting, as US fighter aircraft
provide air support for the Americans on the ground, firing at everything that moves. Nevertheless, Iraqi sharpshooters have managed to pick off US
soldiers, killing at least one.
Two local correspondents of Mafkarat al-Islam on Hayfa Street and al-Karakh neighborhood killed while covering afternoon fighting in Baghdad.
While covering the fighting in Hayfa Street two correspondents for Mafkarat al-Islam was shot dead by US gunfire Tuesday afternoon according to a
notice posted at 5:40pm Mecca time.
Mafkarat al-Islam announced that correspondent Tahsin al-Janabi, was in the at-Tala�i� [�Vanguards�] Square in the Hayfa Street area when an American
Apache helicopter opened fire at 3:30pm local time and struck him in the chest and abdomen, killing him instantly.
Twenty minutes after the martyrdom of al-Janabi, �Uday at-Tamimi was shot dead by a US sniper. The American bullet struck at-Tamimi in the head and
he died instantly. At the time of his death, at-Tamimi was entering Hayfa Street from the north.
At the time the Mafkarat al-Islam notice was posted, the bodies of the two martyrs for truth were still lying on the streets, their blood mixing with
that of the bodies of three children and one woman who were also killed by US snipers or Apache helicopter gunfire. At the time of the report, no one
has been able to approach the bodies of the martyrs because of ferocious US sniper fire.
The third correspondent in the Hayfa Street area reported at that time that the Resistance was fighting back with equal determination. Resistance
forces killed at least 13 American troops and left others wounded. Three Iraqi puppet intelligence men were also killed by Resistance fire. One US
Abrahms tank and one Bradley armored vehicle were disabled. At the time of the report, US Apache helicopters continued to prowl the skies looking for
victims, firing violently into the neighborhood, shooting at anything that moves.
Three Resistance fighters have been martyred in the fighting, the remaining correspondent wrote at 6:40pm local time, but the fighting continued.
Martyr correspondent Tahsin al-Janabi was 24 years old and was among the first in his class in the College of Political Science in Baghdad
University.
Martyr correspondent �Uday at-Tamimi, 26 years old, was a graduate of the same college but came out two years before Tahsin. Neither man was
married.
Mafkarat al-Islam reports that it has a total of 12 correspondents in Baghdad alone. The martyrs of Tuesday afternoon bring to nine the total number
of Mafkarat al-Islam correspondents killed since the US invasion of Iraq. The website further announced that the editors had repeatedly appealed to
the remaining correspondent in Hayfa Street to get out alive as the fighting continued to rage with unmatched intensity, but the correspondent refused
to leave.

Resistance throws back US attack on Hayfa Street Tuesday night.
Iraqi Resistance forces frustrated a new US attempt to storm into Hayfa Street late on Tuesday. The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in the area
reported that at 9:00pm Tuesday night, a force of 10 US armored Bradley vehicles tried to break into the street, but Resistance fighters fought back,
meeting them with bombs. A series of two blasts disabled US vehicles.
Six probable CIA agents killed in Tuesday afternoon ambush west of Baghdad.
Six individuals believed to be US intelligence officers were killed on Tuesday when a US column consisting of four armored GMC Suburban vehicles
believed to belong to US intelligence and four Humvees were attacked. The Resistance fighters fired rocket-propelled grenades and C5K rockets at the
column as it drove along the highway in the al-�Amiriyah area west of Baghdad. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack,
which took place at 4:00pm Tuesday afternoon local time, left two GMC Suburbans destroyed and six persons who were in them dead. It is believed that
they were agents of the American Central Intelligence Agency, the CIA.
Resistance ambush in Abu Ghurayb area kills five Iraqi puppet troops.
Five Iraqi puppet troops were killed on Tuesday when the Iraqi Resistance attacked a joint US-Iraqi puppet patrol west of Baghdad. The Abu Ghurayb
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb went off under the joint patrol in the Abu Ghurayb area at 10:00am local
time Tuesday morning. The blast disabled one US Bradley armored vehicle and destroyed a white Nissan pickup truck belonging to the puppet forces.
Three puppet policemen killed in Resistance attack in as-Sayyidiyah, Baghdad.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked an Iraqi puppet police patrol with automatic weapons in the as-Sayyidiyah area of Baghdad Tuesday, according to the
Baghdad correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam. The patrol was made up of two puppet police cars and the Resistance attacked them with BKCs at about
7:00am Tuesday morning local time. One white puppet police Land Cruiser was disabled in the attack and three puppet policemen killed.
Six American troops said killed in Madinat as-Sadr fighting.
Eye witnesses reported that fierce fighting in the Madinat as-Sadr section of Baghdad had left six US troops killed and wounded several others. The
witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the fighting had quietened down by about 1:00pm local time, after inflicting those casualties and destroying two
Humvees and two US military personnel transport vehicles.
Resistance bombardments around Iraq on Tuesday.
Iraqi Resistance forces pounded the US occupation troops in the palace of Saddam Hussein that they have taken over in ar-Ramadi. The Resistance
fighters began their day with a bazrrage of six 120mm mortar rounds at 2:00am.
At about 5:00am the Resistance hit the southern palace with four Katyusha rockets.
The Baghdad correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance then fired four powerful Grad rockets at 7:30 into the US occupied
facility.
Meanwhile two powerful Tariq rockets slammed into the US base in the city of Balad � a facility known before the occupation as al-Bakr Base.
Resistance fighters also fired seven Katyushas at the Presidential Palace north of Tikrit.
At 9:00am Tuesday morning Iraqi Resistance forces shelled the puppet police academy near the puppet so-called interior ministry in Baghdad with five
120mm mortar rounds.
The Baghdad Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that four Katyusha rockets slammed into the building of the puppet so-called Iraqi �ministry of
petroleum.�
Resistance forces fired two rockets � probably Grads � over the US occupation headquarters in the Republican Palace in Baghdad � which the US invaders
have dubbed the �green zone� on Tuesday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that Resistance forces pounded the headquarters of the US Central Command with a Tariq rocket on
Tuesday.
Two powerful Tariq rockets slammed into the US camp at Balad north of Baghdad at 3:00pm Tuesday according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in
Balad.
The US base at as-Suqur, south of Baghdad, came under bombardment by six 120mm mortar rounds at 5:00pm local time Tuesday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked the oil refinery at Bayji in Salah ad-Din Province with five 120mm mortar rounds at about 6:00pm local time Tuesday
evening.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked the so-called �green zone� in Baghdad with four rockets � probably Katyushas � at 7:00pm Tuesday night local time.
The military academy in southeast Baghdad�s ar-Rustamiyah district was struck by two powerful Grad rockets at about 7:00pm local time Tuesday

At 7:00pm Tuesday evening the Resistance struck the headquarters of Tikrit governorate with six 82mm mortar rounds
Resistance forces bombarded the US airbase in al-Muthanna in Baghdad with two rockets at 8:00pm local time Tuesday night. The rockets were believed
to be a kind of Katyusha according to the al-Karakh correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.
Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded Diyala airport at 10:00 local time Tuesday according to a Mafkarat al-Islam report posted at 11:48pm Mecca time.
The correspondent wrote that the Resistance first fired six heavy 120mm mortar rounds at the facility.
Then after 10 minutes, the base was shaken by another explosion when Resistance fighters lobbed two Katyusha rockets into their compound.
Also at 10:00pm, the Iraqi Resistance bombarded Saddam International Airpot with a powerful Tariq rocket.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked the al-Bakr base of US forces with seven Katyusha rockets according to the Balad correspondent of Mafkarat
al-Islam.
At about the same time Tuesday evening, the Resistance attacked the headquarters used by US forces and their puppet so-called Iraqi �rapid
intervention force� in at-Taji with four Katyusha rockets at exactly 8:00pm Tuesday night local time.
At 12:10am Wednesday morning, Iraqi Resistance forces shelled the US occupation headquarters in the so-called �green zone� in Baghdad with a powerful
Tariq missile. The Resistance then fired two Tariq missiles into the US base at Saddam International Airport at 12:20am
Iraqi Resistance forces also shelled the puppet police academy near the puppet so-called interior ministry with seven 120mm mortar rounds.
Two US MPs killed in midnight ambush early Wednesday morning in al-Ghazaliyah.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a joint US military police-Iraqi puppet police patrol with rockets at 12:45am Wednesday morning in the al-Ghazaliyah
area on Baghdad�s outskirts. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fired rocket-propelled grenades RPG-7s at the
patrol, destroying one white Nissan vehicle and one US Humvee. Two US troops and three Iraqi policemen were killed in the attack.
Four US troops said kidnapped in Baghdad.
Four US soldiers were reportedly kidnapped on Tuesday morning in one of the districts of Baghdad according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in
the city. No further details were immediately available on the kidnapping or its circumstances.
Eleven US intelligence officers believed killed in early morning ambush in al-Latifiyah.
In al-Latifiyah, south of Baghdad on Tuesday, Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a column of US occupation troops at 5:00am. The American column was
made up of civilian cars (GMCs) and trucks and they are believed to belong to US intelligence. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported
that the Resistance used C5Ks and rocket-propelled grenades in the attack. Witnesses reported that the battle left 11 persons dead, individuals
believed to be US intelligence officers. Four GMC cars and three trucks with Kuwaiti license plates were also destroyed.
Two US armored vehicles disabled in al-Latifiyah Tuesday evening.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol made up of four Bradley armored vehicles in al-Latifiyah at 7:30pm local time Tuesday night. The local
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fired SBGs at the US patrol, disabling two of the armored vehicles.
Three Marines killed in ambush in al-Yusufiyah midday Tuesday.
Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded under a six-Humvee patrol of US Marines in al-Yusufiyah as it was heading along the road between that city and Baghdad
at about 1:00pm local time Tuesday afternoon. Two Humvees were disabled in the blasts and three Marines killed according to eyewitness accounts by
people who were on the road at the time of the attack and who were stopped by US forces.
Resistance attacks US Marine-Iraqi puppet force column south of Baghdad.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a joint US Marine-Iraqi puppet force patrol in the Sadr al-Yusufiyah area Tuesday. The patrol consisted of several
Marine amphibious armored vehicles and the Resistance attacked firing SBG-9 rockets, destroying two of the vehicles and killing all aboard. The
Marine armored vehicles usually carry a crew of four men, but frequently carry more where combat is likely.
Two US soldiers killed Tuesday evening in ad-Durah.
The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in ad-Durah reported that at 7:00pm Tuesday evening local time Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a US patrol of
three Humvees in the Hur Rajab area, disabling one vehicle and killing two US soldiers.
Blast at ad-Durah refinery targeted GMC vehicle in the area.
At 10:30pm Tuesday night a powerful explosion shook the al-Bu�ithah area near the ad-Durah refinery south of Baghdad. The Blast appeared to have been
the result of a bomb targeting a black GMC vehicle.
The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam arrived on the scene after the attacke and found fire blazing throughout the car.
Two US troops killed, two wounded in attack just after midnight Wednesday.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column on the Qanat al-Jaysh road near Baghdad al-Jadidah [New Baghdad] at 12:20am Wednesday morning local time.
Resistance fighters used rocket-propelled grenades RPG-7s to destroy one Humvee and kill two US troops and wound two others.
Resistance ambushes US-puppet patrol in at-Taji area north of Baghdad with deadly results.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a joint patrol of US and Iraqi puppet forces in the at-Taji area north of Baghdad. The Resistance fighters fired
rocket-propelled grenades (RPG-7s), destroying one green Mitsubishi pick up truck belonging to the puppet forces and killing three puppet troops. The
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that one US Humvee was also destroyed and four troops aboard it killed in the attack that took place at
about 9:00am Tuesday morning.
Two US troops killed, two wounded in Ba�qubah ambush Tuesday evening.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in the as-Sa�diyah area in Ba�qubah at about 6:00pm local time Tuesday evening. The American patrol was
made up of four Humvees and the Resistance attacked them with rocket-propelled grenades. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that
the attack left one Humvee destroyed and killed two American soldiers, and wounded two others.
Four US troops killed when they tried to raid homes in Bahraz, Ba�qubah.
US and Iraqi puppet forces attempted to occupy the Bahraz area in Ba�qubah in order to arrest a number of Iraqi Resistance fighters. But Resistance
forces carried out a surprise attack on the joint aggressor unit, attacking them from behind with rocket-propelled grenades and C5Ks. The local
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the attack took place at 3:00pm Tuesday afternoon local time and resulted in
three green Mitsubishi pickup trucks owned by the puppet forces destroyed. One American Humvee was also destroyed and four US soldiers and five Iraqi
puppet troops killed.
Resistance bomb kills three puppet police in Ba�qubah.
Three Iraqi puppet policemen were killed when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under their vehicle in Ba�qubah, destroying their white Patrol Safari
and killing the three policemen aboard, according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.
Resistance attack north of Baghdad kills four puppet soldiers.
At least four members of the Iraqi puppet army were killed and an American Humvee destroyed in an Iraqi Resistance attack that took place in the town
of al-�Uwaynat in Salah ad-Din Province, north of Baghdad. The correspondent of Mafakarat al-Islam reported that at 4:15pm Tuesday afternoon the
Resistance attacked a joint US-Iraqi puppet patrol, destroying one white Nissan pickup truck and killing four Iraqi puppet soldiers. An American
Humvee was also disabled but it was unclear whether there were any American casualties as a result.
Resistance hits US food convoy south of Balad.
Iraqi Resistance forces observed a US provisions convoy bringing food to the US occupation troops south of Balad at attacked it with C5Ks and
rocket-propelled grenades Tuesday morning. Residents in the ad-Dijjil district told Mafkarat al-Islam that they saw three food supply trucks
destroyed on the highway about 15km south of Balad. The attack left three persons dead, their nationality unknown. The trucks in the US military
convoy carried Iraqi license plates labeled �al-Anbar Province.�
Seven US troops killed in ambush near Balad Tuesday night.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column near Balad destroying four transport vehicles and one Humvee and killing seven US troops, the local
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported. The attack took place at 9:30pm local time on a convoy made up of 22 military provisions trucks carrying
parts and ammunition for Abrams tanks. Between every third truck was a Humvee or a Bradley armored vehicle. The US column was on its way from
al-Bikr base in Balad to Baghdad.
The Resistance attacked the massive column with rocket-propelled grenades and SPG-9 and C5K rockets. Four trucks carrying tank equipment were
destroyed as was one Humvee. Seven American troops died in the attack.
Resistance targets US tank force near Samarra�.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US force made up of five Abrams tanks near Samarra� at about 7:30pm local time Tuesday evening. First the
Resistance fighters detonated bombs under the US forces and then fired SPG-9 rockets at the Americans, destroying one tank and killing all aboard it.
Another tank was disabled.
The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bombs that blasted the Americans appeared to be multiple charges, because they destroyed the
vehicle completely and because eyewitnesses said that they saw the powerful blast blow the heavy tank nearly 1.25 meters into the air.
Resistance attack in Kirkuk leaves five US troops dead.
Five US troops were killed when Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in the al-Huwayjah area near Kirkuk. The Kirkuk correspondent of
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US patrol was made up of six Humvees and that the Resistance attacked at about 2:00pm local time Tuesday
afternoon, destroying two Humvees and killing the five Americans who were aboard them.
Four US troops killed in attack on convoy in Kirkuk Tuesday evening.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a provisions convoy on its way to the US base in at-Tuz district of the city of Kirkuk. The Kirkuk correspondent of
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at 7:00pm the Resistance attacked the convoy with C5K rockets and rocket-propelled grenades RPG-7s destroying one
military tank truck and two civilian trucks that were providing supplies to the US military.
One US troop carrier was also destroyed in the attack, but it was carrying supplies, not a large contingent of men. Nevertheless, four US soldiers
were killed in the attack as well as the two non-Iraqi drivers of the trucks who were working for the invader forces.
Two Peshmergah Kurdish chauvinist gunmen killed in Kirkuk ambush.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a patrol of the Kurdish chauvinist Peshmergah militia forces in Kirkuk at about 3:00pm Tuesday afternoon local time.
The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in the city reported that Resistance bombs in the path of the Peshmergah patrol destroyed a white 2003 Land
Cruiser, killing two Peshmergah gunmen. Other Peshmergah gunmen serving the US occupation closed off the area after the attack.
Three puppet policemen killed in Resistance ambushes in Kirkuk Tuesday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces staged a surprise attack at 3:00pm local time on two Iraqi puppet police patrols in Kirkuk. The local correspondent of
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance first observed the two patrols and then used BKCs to attack them. Three policemen were killed.
Five Polish invaders killed in Resistance attack Tuesday evening.
Five Polish aggressor soldiers were killed on Tuesday in as-Suwayrah when the Iraqi Resistance ambushed a Polish force at about 6:00pm local time.
The Resistance attacked with rocket-propelled grenades and C5K rockets, destroying one Polish armored vehicle and a troop carrier. The five Polish
troops were killed when the troop carrier was destroyed according to the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.
Resistance attack kills four British troops.
Four British aggressor troops were killed easty of as-Zubayr in southern Iraq at 8:30pm Tuesday night local time when a Resistance bomb exploded under
a British vehicle that was totally destroyed in the attack. The al-Basrah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Brigades of al-Faruq
probably were responsible for the attack, since it is they who carry out operations in that particular area.
Jaysh al-Mahdi deploys near al-�Amarah ready to face a British-Danish offensive.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the southern Iraqi city of al-�Amarah reported that British and Danish invader troops have partly encircled the
Qal�at Salih town near al-�Amarah since 5:00am Tuesday morning. The correspondent wrote that the British and Danish aggressors also control the road
leading to the al-Basrah governorate.
In view of these signs of an impending imperialist drive on the city, Jaysh al-Mahdi militia have been deploying in significant strength in the area,
ready to resist any attack.
