So tonight i'm driving home from work and turn on newstalk radio for a few minutes.
what's the first thing I hear?
REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS CANNOT AGREE ON BUDGET CUTS!

Republicans refuse to cut from the Pentagon and Military
Democrats won't cut on Social programs and want to tax wealthy people more.

You see what we have here?

Republican establishment is showing it's hand, in wanting to continue being world police, and trying to take over the world in the name of "safety". If we end these stupid wars and sending our troops all over the world that alone saves several billion dollars in the budget alone!

Democrats think it's their job to fund anything and everything, and give free handouts at the expense of people who have earned their money? I am not a rich or wealthy person by any means, but I don't think it's fair that they have to keep having the government take more and more of their money. WHAT RIGHT DO THESE JOKERS HAVE TO OUR MONEY??

When you factor in these crooks could agree on bills such as the NDAA, with clear anti-american, and anti-constitutional powers and laws, it really begs the question WHY these people keep getting re-elected? I am sick of these people who are supposedly so smart, YET cannot balance a budget and clearly cannot or have not read the U.S Constitution

I some times think it would be far better to be like Beavis and Butthead than to actually know what is going on in the world. Because in the end a person is no more affective for all his effort.

I'm just having a hard time comprehending how anyone believes the right left bullstuff.
Are you a Republicrat or a Demican?

"They" only want more power and money, the tag is just for looks.

I do agree however, get rid of em all, like the French say, "Off with their heads"!!

It's why we need someone in the middle....because they are BOTH right...to a degree.

We do need the military, and SOME military action in certain areas, but not to the extent the GOP wants, but more than the Dems want.

We do need social programs, but there are some that could be cut.

We do need to increase tax revenue, but can't without hurting economic recovery (unless of course, we legalized a certain natural herb and the oldest profession and taxed them).

Unfortunately, anybody not in these extremes is deemed "unelectable" by the mass media, and the public falls for it...every time.

The mass media is trying to control everyones thoughts but the fact of the matter is RP has beaten Obama in a few national polls, unfortunately he is viewed as a danger to an apparent globalist mindset of the U.S.A

I had a chuckle tonight, watching the news (Cdn), when they stated "unfortunately neither the dope smokin Hawaiian, or the prep school bully look very presidential these days".

That's somewhat of an understatement......

The fascination with the dog and pony show of U.S. political madness underscores the legal and lawful poverty of this nation. As long as the vast majority of people in the United States remain ignorant of law, ignorant of their unalienable rights, and ignorant of the fact that law is not evil, nor is it some act of legislation, then the downward spiral will continue to downward spiral.

It matters not who is in office, and Fidel Castro, or Kim Jong-il could be elected President, but if the vast majority of Americans understand the law and that any tyrant is just as bound to the rule of law that allows for their office as anyone else in the United States, then these tyrants will discover they're helpless to do anything other than stage coups or some other form of atrocity in a desperate attempt to cling to power.

It just doesn't matter who gets elected President, or who is elected to Congress. If an act of legislation is unlawful, and the executive branch is hell bent on enforcing this unlawful act, and even if the courts condone this, the willful non-acquiescence of the people will always prevail. This is precisely why the 18th Amendment failed and Congress was forced to repeal it less than 14 years later. The people simply refused to accept this act as lawful. If only Americans were as concerned with their other rights as they were with the right to drink booze.

What to say here:

On the one hand building a military at wal mart prices you are going to have a wal mart military that is essentially useless and will get those men and women killed.

Doesn't matter how much we disarm the rest of the world arms and the best weapons and training saves lives in the end theirs and ours.

However do we need bases around the world to the extent as we do now? No

Back in the day growing up i could hear military aircraft flying overhead at low altitude much on a weekly basis and that is a sound that i have not heard in decades.

Local bases pumped money in to local economies and gave those comunities a since of pride and honor i would like to see a return to those now.

The funny thing there is those senators when bases were in their states fought tooth and nail to keep them not so much now even the Democrats.

Social Programs is a clear and present danger to the national security of this nation where more people are consuming the wealth of others than generating their own long term wealth.

The more people make the more they spend the more the government generates tax revenue for those who truly need it which also means the more people make the less people will be using those programs.

The status quo does have to end but no solution will come from either side for the simple fact they created the problems so they can offer the "solution".

We are screwed doing the right thing has never entered in to the Washington DC equation.
