Egg found in Martian Meteorite

I am not entirely convinced that is indeed a real object. It appears to be a warped image of a bird's-eye view of a river or something of that nature. Furthermore, upon inverting the colors and zooming in, I found further evidence to back my claim. In the center of the circle I drew there is a dark formation, on the top of it there is clear evidence that it was cut and placed into the image. The top edge of the dark formation is a complete straight line of pixels, something I do not believe should exist on the object to begin with. To back my claim even further, I ask for any legitimate news article on the object in question.

MY OPINION:
This object is indeed a photo manipulation.
