Bush1 knew where OBL was, Clinton knew where OBL was, Bush2 knew where OBL was, and certainly Obama knew where OBS was.

They all could of killed him whenever they wanted. When he was used up as an asset he was finally "taken care of".

Really?

Now Obama opponents are going to claim that he even though he did kill OBL, that he could have done so sooner, but decided not to, so therefore he's a bad President right?

Wow guys, I mean really, stop grasping at straws. There are a million other things that make Obama a terrible President, this whole OBL fiasco is NOT one of them.

How dare Obama run a re-election campaign using his accomplishments

~Tenth

You make it sound like Obama pulled the trigger on OBL. News flash...he didn't! A brave Navy Seal did, if in fact it really happened, because Obama sure hasn't provide any proof of OBL being killed.

Everyone on here asks for a video, picture, or link that provides a source. Where is the proof? If Obama said I'm going to spend billions to provide the American people with renewed energy, would you believe him, sure you would, has he provided any renewed energy, NO HE HAS NOT, but his campain ads say he does.

Point being made is, Obama did nothing. In fact, it was a Naval Admiral that actually made the call so that if the engagement failed Obama could throw blame off of himself. This is a typical move for Obama.

This Naval Admiral told the Navy Seals to engage. The next thing all of us know is.... OBL is dead and his body was dumped in the ocean. Give me a break....Really??? You all just dumped his butt in the ocean?

Why aren't the soldiers on that ship talking about it? I haven't seen any interviews of Naval personnel saying, "Hey, I saw them dump his butt in the ocean on our way back to port."

Now, here is my opinion, take it or leave it.... If I had placed the kill order for OBL, I would have spoken up as this was my engagement and my accountability so I could take full credit for the kill, with the assistance of the Navy Seals. I would parade OBL all over the news media as my trophy giving the American people proof, that the MOST WANTED man on Earth had been captured or killed. I would also award the solider that shot him the $25 million reward on his head. Why is it alright to put a dead or alive reward on someone and not pay up when that person was captured and killed? Can't pay someone when you don't have proof.

Personally, I think OBL died many moons before Obama came up with this conspiracy that was constructed to benefit is re-election campain. Until there is proof, as in releasing the video they were watching of OBL's demise, I'm assuming they were watching the season finale of "24". It was pretty intense.

edit on 5/7/2012 by FlyersFan because: fixing youtube

And if he was sitting at the head of the table you'd say he was being too arrogant and should've let the general sit there....

Keane retired from military service in 2003. He is also a national security analyst for Fox News.

Sometimes on ATS I feel like I am smacking my head against a concrete wall.

On page two of this thread I have wrote a post that pretty much “debunks” (for lack of a better word) the OP’s opening comments. I was able to show in three paragraphs how this news was not new information and at no point does this General claim to that Obama “refused to act” nor is this true in any case. This is not because I have any political affiliation it’s because it’s the truth I am a independent observer.

It’s like people on ATS don’t bother to read even two pages into a thread or ignore information that may contradict their view that “Obama= bad, Osama=CIA”.

OBAMA DID NOT REFUSE TO ACT.

Did you see any evidence of Bin Ladens death? A photo maybe? Look, don't take everything from the White House hook line and sinker. If theres nothing to hide, theres nothing to hide!

The critical thinking just keeps getting better and better in this country. People believe this man was killed by seal team 6, based on what? A #ing movie and President Obama giving a speech about it? The American people are the dumbest lot on the planet. I hope this country sinks and drowns this pathetic human farming cancerous # filled prison.

So he gave the operation a go and did his job, yet you continually say he didn't do his damn job. How do you know any of the kep aspects of this case? You have never been in the situation room. You don;t speak with top genrals and CIA peoples. You don;t know anything other than what the news tells you. (presumably Brett Baier)
The US may have had very good reason to wait. You cannot look at the operation as a failure unless you are .....

A. Owed 10,000 dollars by Bin Laden

or

B. A republican who feels real bitter that Black McBlackman got Bin Laden and your boy didn't.

Those who read this thread know which choice is correct.

...and George Bush knew Osama Bin Laden was hiding in the mountains of Tora Bora and waited 3 weeks to attack using Afghan rebels and not our own forces and we let him slip away. ...And we were lead into the Iraq war under lies that Sadam was connected to 9/11 and he had amassed a huge supply of weapons of mass destruction. How many young men and women have lost their lives because of those decisions?

These Obama witch hunts are really getting old. I'm sure we can go back a few more presidents and find some more dirt. Oh by the way, they had OBL in their gun sights during the Bush Administration, but it was called off. I put the blame squarely on "W" for this entire Middle East war. He expanded it, wasted trillions of dollars supporting it and caused our economy to take a dive. Now we blame Obama for all the mess we're in.

Read the book, "Obama's War," and you'll see just how indecisive Obama is when functioning as Commander-in-Chief. It's been awhile since I read it but it's all about the build up in Afghanistan and troop surge. It was a great book and provided some insight into this war and all the decisions that factored into the troop surge. It highlighted some of Obama's short-comings when making military decisions. It was such a crazy book. The political games that our politicians play are absolutely absurb.

And we're supposed to believe the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretary of State, the National Security Advisor, and a variety of other Pentagon and White House personnel just went along with this? Everyone just sitting around the Situation Room watching a blue screen on the night of OBL's killing?

There is infinitely more truth in "The Wizard of Oz" than anything you will see on the mainstream media when it comes to world events. And I'm not being facetious in the slightest bit. FoxNews, CNN, MSNBC, and all the rest are an insult to human intelligence.

OBL/Tim Osman has been dead for more than ten years. All the videos released since then were made before he died. There was nothing in any of the videos that indicated they were current at the time. Interestingly, there was an amply supply of Grecian Formula in his cave. This dude looked better and younger with each video. Cave life is the best kept secret for staying young and I don't understand why this fact is not on the cover of every tabloid..

Go to this link and scroll down halfway.... find out the real identity of Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri and numerous other hoaxes....

I'm new to the 9/11 Conspiracy forum. I'm also a recent convert, now believing in multiple 9/11 conspiracies. Its not that I didn't believe before, its just that I hadn't looked at the evidence before a couple months ago. I'm accepting evidence only so much at at time. I am remaining neutral on this issue of OBL's death, when it happened and how it happened. To me, its much less important that what started all of this, what led us into Iraq, then Afghanistan, and the rest of the political betrayal that most people in this country as completely naive about. It's absolutely amazing, isn't it?

If your going to go down this root cant you do what every other conspiracy theorist does and just claim the tapes were all fakes.

Because in the tapes he almost always referred in some way to current affairs.

So plase

This is not just to you, its to 98% of the members on ATS.

If don’t know anything about terrorism stop posting your ignorant posts because it is very tiring having to point out all your errors.

Bottom line, Obama deserves credit for killing OBL, even though the situation fell on his lap.
Sure he hesitated for several hours after coming in from playing a few rounds of golf, as evident by his attire.
Yes it fell right on his lap because:
- he loathes the military that killed OBL
- he loathes the big corporations like Lockheed that made the drones that found OBL
- he never never would have chosen to go after OBL back when this whole thing started

Bush had him more than once but then decided not too act, BC tried but missed.

Let me correct some of your obvious misconceptions:

- Obama doesn't loathe the military, on the contrary he has done a great deal for them compared to Bush - including winding down the two wars that kept them in harms way.

- Actually under Obama corporate profits are at a record high, and this while recovering from a severe recession (that started under Bush). And for the record, they found OBL by tracking his personal courier on the ground, not with drones.

- He stated from the very outset he would get OBL, re-prioritized the mission in Afghanistan to specifically kill OBL, and that is what they did.

The claim Obama "refused to act" is bunk and it's been shown the story came from a paid Fox "news" contributor who wasn't been on active duty since 2003 - 8 years out of service prior to the planning and execution of the mission to kill OBL. Sour grapes, thy name is Fox "news".

Since Obama gave the order to kill Osama, then it's pretty obvious to everyone that he should rescind his Nobel Peace Prize.
