We will never hear about this in the media because of the panic it would cause. People would want to know why this is happening and what will be done
to fix it. If 'they' don't know why this is happening, panic sets in. If they do know why this is happening but can't fix it, panic sets in. If
they do know why this is happening and can fix it, chances are it will cost entirely to much and the wealthy people would rather wait for the
environemnt to reach a new equilibruim (chances are some species will be lost and land contaminated) but their future families will still have the 99%
of the worlds money. Face it, there is nothing DIRECTLY we can do!
I say directly because indirectly we can make this place better for future generations. I propose to you to live a simple life. Don't waist
electricity, ride a bike instead of drive a car (or if you must, ride a bus... don't be lazy), EAT ORGANIC. Stop using and buying things that use
pesticides and herbocides. These chemicals have contaminated more than you and I will ever know (read a Silent Spring by Rachel Carson for more
details). Most importantly, live by the motto of REDUCE instead of recycle. Recycling is benefitial to the earth but it still takes a large amount
of energy to convert product A into product B. If you simply reduce the amount of waste you produce on a DAILY basis, you life will have a huge
positive impact on your grandkids surroundings.
