Accused 9/11 Plotters Did Not Cooperate at Their Arraignment

9/11 suspects defiant at Guantanamo arraignment

The arraignment of five Guantanamo prisoners accused of plotting the September 11 attacks got off to a chaotic start on Saturday when all the defendants defiantly refused to answer the judge's questions and one made outbursts in court.

Walid bin Attash, arrived in the courtroom strapped in a chair, apparently having refused to attend the trial. Ramzi bin al-Shibh, interrupted the proceedings to kneel on the floor and pray, and later shouted that Muammar Qaddafi was being held at Guantanamo.

How very interesting. I wouldn't answer the judge either if I was in his shoes. Anything you say can and will be used against you.

They know whats coming to them. Probably just decided to have some fun and annoy the judge on the way out.
