yes, unfortunately, i am believing this to be true, not just because of Qwenn's post on the last page ( thanks for sharing that, im sorry to hear
whenever people take advantage of others interests...), and not just because the video has been removed already, but because i attempted to contact
the company for further information and the response i recieved was a link to the same webpage again
I suppose the snake oil peddlers will always find some way to try and make money....but that doesnt mean that the idea doesnt have its roots in some
form of fact, most "myths" do.
@jazz10, no, i didnt get the chance in the past few days to try it but i did speak with someone who was familiar with what you suggested. He told me
that they used to use a similar idea in vietnam, to power small lights in some of the fire bases. he told me that the light from a basic bulb (or
sometimes a small strand of bulbs worked better) would stay dimly lit and help read maps or letters from home or whatever else they were looking at.
He also told me that when they got caught doing it they would end up having to clean the latrines, and then began describing how they had to stir the
pot while it burned...had to change the subject...
