Alright, there has been a lot of emphasis put on this time in history. Some people believe something major is going to happen and some do not.

So here is the question that needs answered.

Why in this time in history is so much unrest and fear trying to be created?

Because right around this time is when we're supposed to unite in peace and harmony, for the next level in our evolution or whatever. You know, spiritual/physical/general progression.

This is a crucial point in the history of Homo Sapiens.

The end of old cycles and the culmination of new ones.

Because unrest/fear is what hijacks our consciousness. Some theories (which I personally agree with) imply the human species will develop or discover co-creation, this is a problem for those with power, because they would instantly lose all their power and leveredge over others in a world where co-creation is known by all.

To redirect co-creation they keep us focused on being fearful so our thoughts manifest destruction instead of creation. This way they can step in and "save they day" keeping us indebted/enslaved to their "solutions" once more. Fear is a downward spiral in terms of a co-creative world, because every disasterous manifestation is used as fuel (validation) to perpetuate the negative fearful thoughts.

Taking SHTF scenario into consideration. IF a SHTF situation were to happen people would use that as validation of their internal beliefes that the "world is going to hell" there for they think about the world going to hell more, and since they are creating their reality, the world goes to hell more, and they use that as validation of their previously held beliefs. Destruction fueling destruction, fear fueling fear, unrest fueling unrest...

They want us focused on fear and unrest because we will create it....as opposed to

happiness fueling happiness, peace fueling peace etc...

As others have intimated, I think it stems from the fact that we are in the beginnings of a new age. Every 2500 years or so, the old guard is ushered out and a new one takes its place. The old has to deteriorate, be destroyed, or evolve into something else, and this takes some time. Until we adjust, most of mankind will experience fear and doubt during this period of transition.

Information is extremely fluid now and is being dispensed rapidly (like water being poured out from a tilted vessel). At the click of a remote or a keystroke, we can observe it all, and see what other people are up to. We measure our personal small world up against all these others, and sometimes it results in "information overload".

And, of course, the evil deeds tend to be emphasized in the media because it sells. It is so much more interesting to read about corruption and mayhem and dire predictions than it is to read about all the good and beautiful things some of our species are accomplishing.

In times past, it took a bit of effort to obtain information, and the lapse of time between the actual event and our knowledge of its occurrence cushioned the fear of any immediate repercussions. Also, a lot of information was held back from general publication and only released after weeks or even years had passed. Now it's scary untethered reports all the time, every day, everywhere......no wonder we are seeing so many personal and societal breakdowns!!

Who's going to usher out the old guard? And more importantly, who's going to bring in the new one?

Who oversees this process? Who controls it? And what do they want for the future?

The answers to these questions should tell us everything we need to know.
