Nice lovely discoveries in FRESHWATER... which kinda surprised me...figured they'd be oceanic..

An amazing purple crab is one of four new species of the creature that have been discovered on the Philippine island of Palawan.

These type of discoveries are wonderful to see STILL happening, even in 2012...lol.

It isn't all about Bigfoot or Loch Ness Critter...

Well I suppose about 4 types of crabs are no longer "crypto"..cool eh?

Yes, a jewel....looks like he's made of coral and amethyst. Bet the black market for them as pets kicks in at some point.

For a crab, I think it's really kinda cute!
I never thought I'd ever be saying a crab looks cute, but, this little purple thins indeed does seem so!

can't help but wonder how he tastes. I do love a good crab cake.
