In the last month, a new sub-reddit called Girls Gone Bitcoin (see Girls Gone Wild for the cultural reference) has emerged. On this sub-reddit, people (typically girls) upload full nude photos of themselves and include a Bitcoin address. In an amateur digitised version of a strip-club, viewers who want to reward the girls can send them a donation. To many, it is safe and harmless fun.

Chateau deCrypto is another sub-Reddit created by a splinter group of girls after there was worry over the commercial nature of Girls Gone Bitcoin. Essentially, it is the same format and the groups remain frie

Okay, no I didn't, but I'm not currently mining bitcoin, it's something I'd like to do and I've got a nice set up to do so but right now I don't think I'm going to set it up, maybe later.

As Bitcoin gets more popular there will be more stories like this.

The Digital Generation grew up ladies and gentlemen, we won't try to rip your old money out of your hands, we'll just make our own and you can't really stop us. What happens to the elderly when people stop paying into Social Security and the like, since dollars are needed to sustain it if the currency collapses from Bitcoin muscling in on the market?

I am not an economist, I just hope the elders who worked hard to get us to this point in civilization will not be angry at us for creating a future we can be proud of, instead of just one we inherited to pass on similar problems.

by the time it reaches the mainstream it will be corrupted and not so private

same as with the early internet vs the mainstream internet

since there are so few bitcoins right now I am also pretty sure that who ever has used one up to this point will be on some special CIA list

Sad and weird? What about all the cam sites where I can pay US dollars to see girls do nasty things to themselves in real time? There is nothing remotely new about girls doing this sort of stuff for money. And if it's "not really worth anything" then girls wouldn't accept it would they?
