ya know it really bugs me when debunkers use the ole 'flares' excuse, but in this case I really gotta say they look like flares. why is the "solid shape" aspect of your theory not just digital artifacts creating a pareidolia effect causing you to conjure shapes arbitrarily?

Yes, you're right, it could be digital artifacts; however, I haven't found it elsewhere on the enhanced version, so who knows? Need to check it again frame by frame though.

About the flares hypothesis, I disagree with this explanation as I haven't saw yet flares that stands at the exact same place and that kept between each other the same distance.
Shouldn't flares going down to the ground?

I agree they probably aren't flares but the limited amount of time you see anything combined with the lack of other visual information only allows one to go so far with what this could be. After that we can't really say much more.

Car headlights (see, you got me to repeat it), up in the sky...and streetlamps (i did it again) up in the sky.

Nice. But when will we ever get that one day time photo that destroys all the others, like the massive object that was the arizona lights, but at high noon from dozens of angles. I can only hope.

Yes, I was thinking that it may be a blimp, as well.

The OP posted some comments on its Youtube Channel:

I am the person who filmed the video and I will tell you that it is 100% real. I'm a 18 year old kid who still goes to high school. I have absolutely no idea how to make a video like that. I had a hard enough time trying to figure out how to put it on YouTube. But that's pretty neat you been looking for a video like this since '87.

And there has been no other news about it. Many people in my town witnessed it. There is only about 3000 people in my town. And I am the only person in the whole town who has the real video. Some other people may have took it and say its there but like I said it is a very small town and 95% of the people in my town know its my video.

That IS a UFO. A classic saucer. I have seen this when I was a child. It is wobbling and oscillating. In between the bright white lights were various colored lights. Red, blue, yellow, and even a brown light. They are only using the white lights for some reason? I believe at a distance this type of craft will have that amber color appearance like we see in Phoenix lights. Once all its lights are turned on the hues blend together creating an orange ball/glow from far away. If very close you will hear a rythmic hum. I believe that the rythmic hum can create a hypnotic effect. There were two young adults nearby when the craft appeared. Their response was "no big deal it's just a UFO." They had never seen this before. It looked constructed of man made materials. I was overheating indoors, and it was winter, so I ran outside the x-mas party, and it was just floating, maybe 4 mph across the street above the neighbors house. After a short observation I ran back inside and screamed there is a UFO outside! The party of adults all thought it was the cutest thing and lol'ed. They were not interested at all. I have never seen an Alien. I know UFO's do exist. I don't know where it comes from. Above the rotating lights were what appeared to be a golden canopy with small round windows as if the craft was lit from the inside too. If those were indeed windows I am led to believe that it would then be occupied by a very small pilot 2-3ft tall... I am the poster from Omaha in the comments of this kids video. I was delighted to find this video after so many years searching for this object. I have absolutley no doubt about this Michigan video being authentic.
