Story

Gregg Miller says he's well aware that his business selling testicular implants for dogs invites just as many jokes as it does clients. That's because Miller's job is creating artificial dog testicles for canines that have been neutered. "Dogs aren't stupid," he tells Business Week. "They would know if their eye was gouged out, or their foot was cut off. Why wouldn't they know if their testicles are now missing?"

This article, I just dunno what to say...I know some people treat their pets better then they treat other people, but this....
Speechless LOL

Would it be possible to get a link to the original article?

(My apologies if its included in the formatting, I am not yet used to ATS formatting. If that's the case could you direct me to where I need to click? Thanks!)

People think he's "nuts"...LOL...I get it!

Seriously, animals don't miss their testicles. Most of them are neutered fairly early, so they didn't have them long enough to get an attachment to them.

This has got to be the dumbest, most insane business idea I've ever heard of, and the poor dog gets his sac cut on twice, the second time because their owners are suckered in by guilt.

You tend not to be able to show "dogs which are not intact", at the major dog show events.

The boy dogs need their balls.

Think there's maybe less guilt and a little more greed.

This for me is worse because the owners are doing it to support them n showing the dog. This is wrong.

I wonder if it would exist if certain dog show associations changed their rules on non-intact dogs.
