Time Lapse Video - Acorn Becomes Oak Tree

Amazing time-lapse video of an acorn becoming an oak tree over an 8 month period...

Sort of anticlimatic. I was expecting like a full grown monster oak tree! Wonder how long that time lapse would take? But still very cool!

I don't think the creator of the video had 200 years to spare.
Prolly thought 8 months was long enough.

Well you don't get a full grown oak in 8 months, nor does it take 200 years.

I grew all my trees from acorns (and seeds for non-oaks). I had one (the most perfect and shapeliest) that was 60 foot tall after 25 years and the drought took it. I lost a load of various types of oaks (and other types of trees) to the drought; but, my liveoaks made it. They were all roughly 25 years old. My liveoaks are roughly 30 foot tall.
