I saw the other post about Obama saying the war on terror is over,

OBAMA ADMIN: THE WAR ON TERROR IS 'OVER' By BEN SHAPIRO, Breitbart News Today, the National Journal reported that a senior State Department official has announced, “The war on terror is over.” “Now that we have killed most of al Qaida,” the source said, “now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism.” The article itself describes the Obama administration’s new vision of foreign policy, which admits no enemies. Everyone, in this view, is a friend. Islamism, says the Obama administration, is just fine, so long as it does not openly support terrorism. This, of course, is utter foolishness. Islamism is a religious ideological movement that brooks no real alternatives – so while the State Department proclaims “a legitimate Islamism,” it fails to acknowledge that Islamism, “legitimate” or not, is deeply intolerant of any other modes of expression. Not only that, but Islamism works hand-in-glove with terror groups around the world. Simply because a regime does not openly house al Qaida does not mean that the regime doesn’t support al Qaida; just because a regime pretends at democracy doesn’t mean that it has real democratic values. ‘WAR ON TERROR IS OVER’: OBAMA ADMIN APPARENTLY TAKING NEW VIEW OF ‘ISLAMIST RADICALISM’ Posted on April 24, 2012 at 6:30am by Jonathon M. Seidl Print »Email » Comments (51) Could this be the Obama administration’s “mission accomplished” moment? In an article for National Journal, an Obama admin. official is quoted as saying “the war on terror is over” in relation to radical Islam, and the government is taking a new approach: In an article in the current National Journal called “The Post Al Qaida Era,” I write that the Obama administration is taking a new view of Islamist radicalism. The president realizes he has no choice but to cultivate the Muslim Brotherhood and other relatively “moderate” Islamist groups emerging as lead political players out of the Arab Spring in Egypt, Tunisia and elsewhere. (The Muslim Brotherhood officially renounced violence decades ago, leading then-dissident radicals such as Ayman al-Zawahiri to join al Qaida.) It is no longer the case, in other words, that every Islamist is seen as a potential accessory to terrorists. “The war on terror is over,” one senior State Department official who works on Mideast issues told me. “Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism.” [Emphasis added] The Weekly Standard contrasts this with Bush: This new outlook is radically different than what was expressed under President George W. Bush immediately after September 11, 2001. “Over time it’s going to be important for nations to know they will be held accountable for inactivity,” Bush said on November 6, 2001. “You’re either with us or against us in the fight against terror.” For President Barack Obama, it would seem, one can be both with us and against us–or not with us, but not quite against us. National Journal author Michael Hirsh asks the relevant question: “The question is, how will this play politically at a time when Obama’s GOP rival, Mitt Romney, is painting the president as a weak accommodationist?” Read more on the article here.

That can mean two things:

1) We won!

2) The terrorists won?!

In any case now we can have the TSA stop the frisking of grandmas and children with sippy cups, 6 year old girls, Miss USA, moms with breast milk who do not want it x-rayed and are made to miss their flights

I'm sure Big Sis and Obama can find somewhere useful for the former TSA agents.
How about having them escort the CIA to foreign countries to make sure they don't pickup hookers????

Do you really think that would happen????

The TSA will stay right where they are... and make our skies safer....yea right!

Strange they are sayin that. I heard on Australian TV news that the US is now focusing its attention on SE Asia hence the military base in Australia.

Saying the war on terror is over is also strange in that I wondered if that if killing OBL would signal the end of the war on terror.

Carol Rosin once said that she was told by Werner Von Browen that the war on terror would be followed by an alien invasion and that this claim would be a lie. Only in the last few weeks there was in interview with some US military offiical by an Australian chat show, which was all about an alien invasion.

strange that unitl this interview claims aliens even existed were laughed at by the same chat show and the US military.

The war on terror is far from over my friend. What the US and Coalition Forces did in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya has only inflamed the suitution. Once the people of those nations have woken up, they are going to be a very angry lot - it's going to be hell.

The war on terror was a fraud in the beginning and the claim that is it over is a fraud now. I agree it is time to send the TSA home and time to end the Patriot Act. It is time to over rule the NDAA. Are we going to see any of this happening? I see nothing changing except semantics . I wonder what they are going to call the war on the entire planet now? Maybe some are right could it be changed to War of the worlds? The Iron Mountain Report that they try so hard to discredit contained what we are going through. The enviornment , phoney climate change and yes it contains the Alien invasion as well. With their climate gate falling in upon them. They desperately need another common enemy to protect the planet from in order to push their agenda. It was thought up long ago, the plan was written in the 60's for implementation of their HOAX. We have witnessed the insanity of their ideas first hand. It is time to put the mentally deranged back in the box that they managed to escape from. It is is not a matter of we want to. It is at the point that we have to.

I get to visit my friends at the TSA when I fly this week.

Nothing like entering an airport and being immediately guilty until proven innocent.

I absolutely hate to fly since 9/11 but unfortunately I have no choice this time around (family emergency)
