See fer urself. ;9 v

earthquake.usgs.gov...

That's right. There's been four over 5 magnitudes in just today. As long as I've been watching such, I've never seen such. Aside from all the other anomalies I've seen, this one caught my eye, and I posted because I believe it could trigger a tsunami toward the east coast of Australia if a big, deep quake hits this fault. It looks like it's just waiting to happen. We'll just see what happens. :9 Hopefully, if a big one hits, they'll have time to evacuate without people getting hurt. I agree with the open-minded professionals when they say "The Earth is cracking up". Just another phase in the coming times, I say. Be positive. You know how the old saying goes. "Sometimes, things have to get worse before they get better". And, I see a bumpy ride ahead. And, yes, the pun was intended. ;3

So, hang in there guys! ^ ^

*EDIT* It's four over 5's and one recent. :9

its only a magnitude 5 earthquake nothing too serious, no where near enough to cause a tsunami.

What he's saying is that there were 4 of these moderately sized quakes (5 isn't too big, but it's not small either), and that they unusually appeared on this fault today, in succession. I noticed it too, and it may be nothing, but there's always the possibility for a bigger one to strike, especially if the plate is moving.

I'm not too familiar with that fault, and if it's a slip-fault or not, but hopefully when a major quake hits there, people are given enough warning to avoid fatalities. As always, people should be alert.
