I see so many people write of who they are going to support and vote for. My question is
why? Given the ATS crowd has been moderately
disillusioned to how politics and the "democratic" system in America operate, I thought that more people would be aware that a) the popular vote
doesn't mean anything, b) the election is predetermined.
With that being said, it doesn't matter how many people support Ron Paul; he can't win because the game is rigged against him. He has been
absolutely ignored and dismissed up until this point, what makes people think that the media will suddenly start paying attention to him for any
reason?
Why are people so hellbent to get Obama out of office if it means replacing him with Romney? Don't people understand that Romney and Obama are
essentially the same person, except Romney is a pathological liar? How can anyone trust a person who changes his core values for every audience? The
guy is trying to SELL his presidency.
Amidst all of this, people are still bickering over Obama's birth certificate? Obama has committed enough offenses to get himself impeached; his
legitimacy is literally meaningless. If they aren't going to impeach him for declaring war without congress' approval, they aren't going to impeach
him for being illegitimate.
Look at this PDF of Obama's current impeachable offenses:

If you think that "9%-approval-rating" congress actually cares, you're mistaken.
The entire American political system is a joke. Palin described it best a few months ago on TV when she said something along the lines of, "People go
into congress condemning it as a cesspool which needs cleaning up. Two years later, they come back and say that it's more like a hot tub." The
system is beyond saving; the corruption runs too deep. I doubt any man can overcome the degeneracy of Capitol Hill. Anyone who says otherwise is
paying lip service.
Romney will win the election. Aside from the media shoving him down our throats, he has the backing of the banks and AIPAC. So don't worry about
Obama getting impeached, we only have 10 more months of him.
The question then becomes, how can we change our political system? It is obviously not serving us, but the odds are stacked so high against us that I
see no cure to what is plaguing our country.
Revolution is never the answer, by the way. Revolutions don't fix anything, especially if they succeed in dismantling the current power structure
within a nation. So please don't say that we need to revolt against the government because this is not a feasible option.
I suggest letting the country collapse and rebuilding it from the ground up. If the foundational pillars upon which our country stands have been made
corrupt, the only way to fix our country is by allowing it to crumble and building it upon immaculate pillars.
The most important thing, however, is that we need to come together as Americans, and begin demanding answers from our government. A fractured nation
is easy to distract and pit against itself; a united nation, however, is a force to be reckoned with. This is our future, our children's future, and
our children's children's future that we're talking about here. The last 3-4 decades have been spent systematically disemboweling the system under
our noses, so when are we going to finally say, "enough is enough?"
