'Huge' water resource exists under Africa

Seems like all those who claimed Gaddaffi was digging for water were right.

S/F for that map. Interesting... That confirms what I'd heard at the time. The richest and most expansive water resources across all of North Africa sit under...(drum roll)...Libya. I'd read it was a war for water and not oil. Your map illustrates that more clearly than anything else. Thanks!

I'd say the water map shows real promise and potential for the future in Africa as a whole. If the people choose to use the resources that could make them wealthy beyond all reason in their nations.....and they choose to develop what all that water can make possible...they could lead the world in a few decades. Who knows? They just have to want it enough to stop the fighting all over the continent.
