i have a question for all the folks that call for obamas' impeachment: you guys realize that impeachment doesn't mean removal from office right? even if obama was impeached that still doesn't mean he is removed, the SC could find he didn't commit any crimes, just like i believe they did with clinton.

i mean for gods' sake, why the heck should he be impeached for something he had nothing to do with? if the SS did something illegal, that is on the head of the SS, not the president! the SS protects the president, he isn't their boss and isn't accountable for their actions anymore than he is when soldiers in iraq or afghanistan kill non-combatants..

Got news for you. Secret Service does NOT work for Obama, they protect him.

Obama has absolutely zero influence over the Secret Service, other than to say "I'd like to suggest that possibly agent xxx be removed from my detail" but has no power of hire or fire over the agents in the Secret Service.

FOX News, Governor Palin, and Governor Romney should know that a President, and certainly a Presidential Candidate, have no authority to fire secret service agents assigned to their protection.

The Secret Service agents didn't do anything illegal. It's certainly distasteful to most Americans, but in the juristiction where the act occurred, prostitution is LEGAL.

I totally dislike Obama as much as the anyone else, but this is really way off base and stupid to suggest that he knew and maybe approved of the actions of those involved. Should we also go after the commanding general of So Com because some of his troops did it to?

Red Sox almost went 100 years without a championship. Obama has to be impeached for that!
the guy lives in a pineapple under the sea. I haven't seen his real birth certificate! He told Lindsay Lohan to get wasted and steal jewelry! How can this man still be president? He steals freedoms and spreads AIDS to puppies and children! This man is an outrage.

are people really so ignorant that they don't even know you can't impeach someone who doesn't break a law?
so even if blame could be thrown at obama, they couldn't impeach him for moral reasons it has to be for LEGAL reasons.

This is just silly to me,

I am not sure you can prove he did anything himself and he can't be impeached for what others did.

Although if you want to impeach him he has done numerous other things that would allow someone to pursue him on those grounds.

Wait, so the actions of Secret Service men having fun with prostitutes and getting caught should some how get Obama impeached? Are you serious? You already listed great reasons to impeach this man and there's no talk of impeachment (save a few in DC) but you wonder if this will be the straw that breaks the camels back? Well, it definitely won't be, but it does look bad on him and his campaign for Prez, so there are some positives still yet

obama is the president of the united states, he has much more important things to do than check what off duty secret service members are doing at 3:00 in the morning.

that's not his job. that job is entrusted to the secret service member in charge of the detail.

he's responsible to for what his men are doing, and he's the one who let the president down.

You must know it was Obama who gave the green light to stop his guys from doing hookers and blow. He made an example out of them. Now they will be more discrete. It is a feather in his cap, not an impeachable offense.

Do you honestly think that any person who works in the White House would not fire someone if told to by the president? It would ruin their career.

ah, so the talking point is 'the most powerful man in the world' does not have the power to fire his own bodyguards, does this not prove he is just a puppet then?

Rather than investigating the prostitution scandal i am more interested in the fact that the secret service polices counterfeitting, seems like protecting the prez is a big enough job.
