New Mystery Illness in Vietnam

So, I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, if so sorry. I did a search and nothing came up...
Anyways, a new illness has been reported in Vietnam. First comes rashes on hands and feet, then a high fever, loss of appitite, and eventually organ failure. Any thoughts?

Maybe the start of a new world-wide plauge/ epidemic....

yeah it does sound a bit like the diary i picked up on resident evil 1, i think it ended with the words "itchy..tastey"

if the majority of the infected are around one village then it must be some local cause. umbrella lab maybe.
maybe bat poo in pig food..silly hollywood.

People should stop eating monkeys, or eating any animal for that matter. All these world-destroying diseases and many non-lethal ones can be directly linked to human consumption of other animals. Not very smart as a race of animals (and gotta remember - man is the only animal who destroys entire forests, unless you count fire as an animal).
