Introduction : Well Hello

I just joined today and ATS suggests you make an intro thread so I here I am, I'm a Scouser (Liverpool) Living in the Netherlands with my soon to be husband. Im a big gay and mildly autistic (aspergers), you can imagine my parents joy hehe. so I often feel a bit like an alien watching the rest of the zoo.
I'm here mostly for the Alien threads and want to suck in and process everything i can on the subject, I dont get too angry over hoaxes because i think our minds feed off stories of all kinds, so I usually enjoy the threads that are clearly untrue as long as they're well written and thought out. I will be a quiet member for now whilst i get to know the many rules because i've seen lots of threads getting shut down and people being banned by mods without being given the chance to explain themselves, so I don't want to make a stupid mistake and get myself thrown out. You wont find me on the many racist threads that pop up even to disagree some minds will always remain closed so i wont waste my energy, this obviously goes for the "gays are demon possessed" type threads too, Cruelty makes me physically sick, I will try always to be kind and respectful unless attacked in which case i reserve the right to fight fire with fire.
I believe that peace is possible and that we all want to love each other deep down but we have been manipulated to think that we have to fight against people who are different to us, it keeps us busy. Sadly we are taught to fear each others differences and feel that they take so much from our lives, this has always been a lie meeting people and living around people different from us enriches our lives immensely. Obviously the people at the top prefer that we turn on each other and burn off the energy we should really use emptying the government and the vatican files to see what really has been kept from us and done to us by the people in charge. but hey ho hope i didnt bore anyone too much.

Hello Glass Spider and welcome! I am Split Infinity. I am always on Rock Band time so I can never sleep early. I am from New England...Massachusetts, USA where Gay Marriage is LEGAL. I am a Straight Alpha Male but I have no issues with Gays or any other sexualities...not my business.

Unfortunately there are some people on this board...not so much in the UFO section...but more in any of the Religion related Topics...that are closed minded. But there are many others of greater number who will not judge.

thanks for the welcomes, yeah we have gay marriage here too including church and we get to call it marriage O . I've looked around on here enough now to know which threads to avoid like the plague but sometimes the vile stuff spills into unexpected places. i'll do my best to avoid them and lean towards people like yourself

Thats nice of you to say. I could never understand why some men and women get so upset about Gays or Gay Marriage. I am secure with my sexuality...I LOVE WOMEN and everything about them...but that doesn't mean that just because that is how I am...I should believe everyone should be.

I have found that people who disparage Gays are usually carrying some sort of baggage that makes them feel like they have to compensate for something they lack by mistreating others.

Couldn't agree more i think that goes for all of the phobias and hatreds, i think the only thing you can really do is be the best you can be and love them into submission, i've lived in a few different countries in europe and lots of cities in england and loved meeting people from different backgrounds and becoming part of different societies learning new languages, people who close themselves off from that because of skin colour, sexuality, social position etc. are missing out on a great deal. they need love more than most of us.

Here's a few thoughts before getting onto any one of the 1000's of topical rides at Above Top Secret, also known as ATS, the world's largest Civil & Unique Discussion Community.

*** Please be at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward), and act like an 'civil' adult. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

*** Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride you're on. Before getting on a ride, you should be mentally fit, emotionally stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

*** Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might think or expect. At times, you may learn something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride, this is a natural and normal phenomena.

*** Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.
