Didn't they already do this with the gorillas, or was it Madonna, I can't recall who exactly it was but it was way better than some retarded dead rapper. Those who dumb down the masses have no shame. They should have brought back Elvis...now that would've been awesome!

Just for you!! Some say it's a hologram, some say it isn't. Whatever it is or isn't, it's amazing!! LOL I certainly enjoyed it.

Well, yes. Did you not notice anything strange with the quotes I pasted?

Well not really. I did not visit them as I assume the relevant parts were contained within the quotes, but quoting how Dre wanted to work it, who provided the imagery AND what technology is being used, doesn't elicit in me any notion of string pulling so as to pull of a trick and fool the audience.

It is what it is, rich dopers having a blast on stage with a gimmick that gives pleasure to a crowd of like minded people. That's all.

It's not even a proper hologram. Not even in three dimensions. It's a two dimensional projection onto a film, that has the appearance of three dimensions given your viewing angle. And like ALL 3d screens that do not rely on external glasses to provide the illusion, once you pass that angle of illusion, you get a crappy blurry display.

So I'm left wondering what strings there are, and who just might benefit from any pulling of said strings, or what other way to take the question. Rich doper rappers, who can do it for the sheer fact they can, OR some secret illusive entity that for some reason only raises half cocked questions, and always leaves the meat out of it all.

I just wanted to drop by and say this has been done for a while now. All the rage in Japan is Miku Hatsune. 100% holographic entertainment. The Tupac show is just riding coat-tails. Here is a link to one of the vids.

Pretty sure Tupac was done using a similar method. That's why he appears to be gliding across the floor at times if you watch his feet and Snoop couldn't get close to him.

If was even produced by the same company that did the Gorillaz, Musion. SO this thread is about 6 years too late.

All the nations of earth, I think, would beg to be united under a new world order if all faced a common threat, such as an army of ten million Tupacs.

LOL, nothing to do with project bluebeam and not even a 3D hologram.

I can just picture the fake alien invasion :

"Oh no, look at that huge mothership in the sky"

"Wait a minute, if you move over here and look at it it's perfectly flat, and if you move over here it just disappears !"

Having said that, 3D holograms are in development but at the moment they're 5 frames per second and monochromatic.

Nice post and info, it's too bad the good guys have nearly already won. The cabal have lost they will be rounded up. The alliance of good ets have come back with Michael and the Gretys and reptilians are gone. The last base is gone there is only a few of them left now. For others who don't know two large former leagues which use to be with the Orion empire or league have left and joined the galatia federation a few years ago. Our destiny is assured even all the old stories will come true. No rapture though. Our days to 4th density is getting close don't be scared search your heart and higher self you know it's coming.

Amazing technology and so happy to see it come to life.I know that early stages of this "hologram" technology have been seen in the past, but this is a very improved version.

A person i know, that is very deep into conspiracies and has contacts in the military, once told me that the technology we see and use in everyday life,is 100 years behind the technology that exists in the labs and the military uses.I don't know how accurate this is,but if truethen if we see Tupac singing as a hologram, then they definetely have the technology to create all the "project blue beam" conspiracy suggests.

On a lighter note and perhaps a suggestion on how they will make the holograms in the sky look real...they could use magnetic containment fields, like in the star trek holograms
. I know it's just science fiction and i don't know if this kind of technology exists, but many things that considered scifi in the past,we use them in everyday life in the present.

"Only problem? This wasn’t a hologram at all. Rather, it was a clever optical illusion technique known as "Pepper’s Ghost" which dates back to a technique first described by an Italian scientist in the 16th century.

This combination of high-quality computer rendering and old-school optical trickery has impressed many experts"

pretty cool ,but what a waste on this rap "music"it would be really neat if they put hendrix, bonham and pastorius on stage together, now that would be something.

What I think is bugging a lot of us out is that Pac is/was a real dude.

Gorillaz and that anime chick are not.

It just feels wrong and shiesty.

Yeah, I just can't wait for all the morons among us that believe in Jesus to start running around, in a rabid, drooling, frenzied state, when they see their "savior" return. They will murder and maime in the name of their God .... kind of like they do now.

Belief in these mythological fantasies should disqualify people from voting, breeding, or holding any power over the rest of mankind.

This is why we can't have nice things. Just enjoy something for once without thinking it's some evil conspiracy project.

I can have nice things. They can't, but I can.
and I imagine 99.9% of consumers will sell a toe to have a holo-tv or whatnot...

Government, if they are doing this for nefarious reasons, wants to make us super distracted with epic tech..a holodeck would do that. Well played.

This certainly gives food for thought, albeit not from a scientific "can it can't it be done perspective". That question is for the techie experts to debate.
My two pennies worth. Expose people to this kind of "grounbreaking" or "cutting edge" phenomena, causing a lot of wows and sharp intakes of breath. Slowly at first, or in small, specific events, which then get posted around on various sites, taking on board open discussion.
Next step, expose it to a wider audience, lets say..... the Olympics, a worldwide audience, same technology, same discussions, same debunk qualities.
Then, as the masses come to the conclusion that if this is the best they have got to try to manipulate us then we won't be fooled; BANG! hit us with what they really have, much more advanced, much more convincing, much harder to deny.
Think it was mentioned a few times earlier, but I believe that the technology on show is not the best they have to hand. Probably saving that for a special occasion.....

BTW, not sure who I am implying as "they" in this post, suppose it is the PTB.

However, if they could reproduce all 5 members of Pink Floyd on stage, I'd pay good money!
