I don't think there's any information in the CNN report that is out of the ordinary. The Anti Coalition Militia (ACM) make plans, rehearse, and execute those plans. Coalition/ISAF/Afghan forces & other agencies do likewise. This sort of activity is fairly cyclical.

The USA has not WON a WAR since WWII.
It's time to close all overseas military bases; bring home the troops; hunker down; close the boarders and get our Republic in order.
Let the rest of the world take care of their own.

So, if what our guys are saying is true,

who's side is CNN on, and why?

Are they incompetent, or have an agenda?

1978 Russian armies attacked Afghanistan .Ten years later they retreated .
2001 U.S. Armies attacked Afghanistan. Ten years later their retreat begins.
And nothing has changed in neighboring Pakistan since 1978. Just the same corruption and fanaticism.
Did either of these giant military dictatorships learn anything from their mistakes.
Clearly they did not. The real problem still hides in Pakistan
