so my journey begins here...

Hi, this is my first post at ATS. I stumbled onto this forum through another forum while discussing topics on space and the universe. I'm very fascinated by what physical secrets lie past our known world. I've probably visited these forums off and on for about a year. I usually read about the topics in the Aliens or Cryptozoology section. Recently, this Paranormal forum has intrigued me through some of my past experiences. Some of the people who post here are just like me!

well, that's enough about that... lets get to my issue.

I always fealt as though I had some gift, but I NEVER considered it to be telepathic or anything of the such.

When I was young, a lot of weird things happened. I don't want to make this thread an extremely long read, so I'll just sum it up for you guys.

A little about myself

From Ages 8-12 My parents reported that I slept walked tremendously. We lived in a 2 story house and such things baffled me. I never thought of it as anything strange b/c it never seemed to me that I did any of those things. My parents told me that they have witnessed me sleep walking down the stairs and trying to go outside. From that moment forward, they put locks on both outside and inside of the doors. I had a pool in my backyard, so they didn't want me drowning. After some thought, I do rememeber waking up downstairs in the middle of the night on the couch.

Also, when I was a little boy, I used to have VERY strange dreams. I dreamt that I was mario(from nintendo), and I had to get to the princess(felt as though I knew her). anyways, I rememeber having to get past huge crowds of people who resembled those little monsters in Mario where you had to squish them to get past. These "people" had arms and such. Unfortunately, during my quest to weed through the crowd, I was always unsuccessful. I've had that same exact dream maybe 6+ times. everytime I woke up, I fealt as though I was sick and wanted to throw up. I remember once, that I finally had reached the princess and saved her from bowser and everyone was cheering. After that, I never had the dream ever again.

I wonder what that stuff meant?

While growing up, I always had some uncanny sense to foretell the future. Not big things like plane crashes, but of little bitty things that would happen in the next few minutes or such. My first real experience was when I was in the 6th grade. Our math teacher had us play a guessing game. I don't rememeber the game exactly, but she had a few numbers on the overhead and she wanted us to predict how many people would pick certain numbers(It think we were learning about probability or something). Anyways, I remember sitting there very calm looking at each person. My state of mind seemed to change from that moment. As I was cycling through the class of about 24, I tallied up who picked which number. Somehow, I could feel which number they picked through the expression in their faces. When everyone revealed which number they picked, I was completely RIGHT.

I had other experiences, but none of them were as prominent as that. I truely never gave this any thought. I always said to myself that I had goodluck or something. Now, I think I have something different. Maybe you guys can help?

My life has definately changed since then. I don't even rememeber my dreams anymore. I wake up every morning not even recognizing that I had a dream. I hope to change this since I think dreams play a big role in my paranormal powers. I'm 16 now and I don't focus on trying to predict the future anymore. Whenever I try I'm always wrong.

I want to "re-awaken" my childhood "powers", but I have no idea if I'm able to. After reading a lot of the posts, I've come to the conclusion that this is real, and that I should experiment with it.

Well why do you want these "powers"

Here,that isn't unusual. We are the largest collection of people who have been/likely to be in a mental institusion on the web.

Like I said,none of that is unusual,though sleepwalking a lot may be,not sure.

Can you still do things like figuring out a number someone is going to pick? It can be useful. Try rock paper scissors,after about 20 ties people give up.

I am of the opinion that everyone can tap into a power of some sort, be it telepathy,telekinesis,astral projection or an ability to see the future. Some people are just more receptive to these gifts than others. If you want to delve deeper into these "gifts" of yours its your choice but be warned-the paranormal plane is a scary place to be.

As for your super mario dreams I highly doubt they signify anything. You probably play too much nintendo-no offence.

I use to sleepwalk too LOL

When I was about 6 I started getting this dream that I was being crucified and it went on for a while. Then when i was about 9 I started to sleepwalk whenever I had that dream. I had the same crucifixion dream about once a month up until I was 12. Then it suddenly stopped, weird #...

I never even owned a nintendo at that age. lol

lol i feel as though id need them for the future but that might be my ego wanteing to impress if i could get them or justg a childish fanstasy.

And sleep walking i used to do it, nothing special lol

Dreaming of being crucified at age 6. That's pretty young to experience such a painful execution with many years of reminders. Had you had any church influences? Bible studies, sunday schools, etc... Also, do you know why you were being crucified? Were there parallels to Jesus'? Was there anyone you knew there? Details please if you recall.
