While searching for some airplane clip art to make an icon out of, I google image searched for "aircraft" or something generic like that... To my
surprise, I saw a pic on a personal website of a Navy officer that had some digital cam snapshots of an aircraft that was doing some catapult tests...
Now, I'm an aerospace engineer, and I'm very familiar with military and civilian aircraft, spacecraft, and the like...
This particular aircraft almost looked like what some people said the F-19 looked like... However, it was a rounded delta wing aircraft with no vert
stabilizer or empennage of any kind. This rounded delta wing had a W shaped profile... It had hard edges on the panels and very high speed engine
inlets, albeit not for near-hypersonic flight. It certainly had the characterisitcs of a futuristic composite stealth-capable fighter/interceptor.
DID ANYONE ELSE CATCH THIS, OR COULD POSSIBLY CLARIFY? MAKE ME FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT... I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT IT WAS!
Defining characteristics in pics:
-Catapult test
-Female Test Pilot
-Wavy 'W' Delta wing
-No tail
Help!
