"When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away...When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written." Luke 21:9,20-23

Revolutions started happening throughout the Middle East last year. Three rulers were toppled in 2011. Mubarak of Egypt, Gaddafi of Libya, and Ben Ali of Tunisia. Coincidentally, Daniel 7:8 tells us that three "horns" of the emerging new world empire would be uprooted. Daniel 11:40-43 tells us "at the time of the end"..."Egypt will not the escape" ..."with the Libyans and Nubians (the people in Tunisia are partly descendent from the ancient Nubians) in submission."

At the time of the end, in association with the three horns being uprooted, will be the rise of the "little horn" from the region of the ancient Seleucid Dynasty which covered Iraq and Syria. Coincidentally, key international meetings are being held in Baghdad this spring. But first, the "ships of the western coastlands" (Daniel 11:30) needed to release their grip of control over the land of the little horn. Coincidentally, the U.S. and British troops moved out of Iraq in December 2011.

Next to come, Jerusalem will be "surrounded by armies", leading to "a time of punishment in fulfillment of all that is written." So much was written by the Jewish prophets, particularly Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Habakkuk and Ezekiel, about the time of Jacob's trouble. It is a time of great distress for Israel that lasts 42 months. It will also bring judgment on the rest of the world, leading to the dawning of a new era of peace, healing for the planet and the reign of the Messiah. Think of it as Aslan returning to the Land of Narnia to bring springtime to the winter of its discontent.

But the darkest hour comes first before the dawn.

www.nytimes.com...

NY Times reports today that this week's scheduled negotiations are the last chance for Iran to avoid an Israeli military strike on their Fordo enrichment plant. Iran must agree to dismantle Fordo and stop uranium fuel enrichment capable of becoming weapons' grade fuel.

I don't think Iran will agree to that. Sanctions have only hardened the resolve of the Iranian regime. They cannot appear weak, either to the world or to their own citizens. They want war, not just any war, but an apocalyptic war that reveals their Madhi.

Israel, by the same token, cannot back down on their threat to attack Iran. As Netanyahu sees it, Iran's drive to building a nuclear bomb poses an existential threat to Israel.

Hey thanks for sharing!
Have you heard of the fictional series by Joel Rosenberg? One is called The Ezekial Option. It's about a Jew who like, changed his mind or something and now believes the Christian prophecies are playing out, and the series is based on current events and how they could possibly play out as the prophecies unfold. Some of his books predicted things so well that some people have hailed him as the Nostradaumas of the 21st century. He says he's no Nastrodaumas but that he is just going by the Bible. If I got any details wrong, I apologise, but I do believe you may find his stuff interesting. Peace and thanks again for sharing this
