Sorry i know i ask for alot of help but this is bugging the absolute hell out of me, My last graphic card died and ive got the money for a new one at the start i was going to get a Gainward GTX 570 Goes like Hell but changed my mind when i learned for £40 extra i could get a AMD 7870 that would wipe the floor with a GTX 570 and compete and win in most places with the GTX 580. The problem is now i dont know what to get becouse ive literaly looked on every website i can including youtube trying to findout what is the best of the 2 meaning the GTX 570 and the AMD 7870 becouse half the websites say they are either equil or the 570 is better and the other half say the AMD 7870 completely kick the crap out of the GTX 570 even in benchmarks ill post a link below. Could someone or a few of you please tell me what is the best? i trust this website more than any of the others ive asked and it would stop me alot of stress thanks.

www.tomshardware.co.uk...

That is the benchmarks showing howgood the 7870 is in comparison and clearly shows it way ahead of the GTX 570.

www.anandtech.com... hern-islands

And thats the benchmark completely turning it on its head, this is why i ask for help from people who actualy know and not trust benchmarks and never trust a hardware website becouse they completely contradict themselfs. Ive asked a few guys on youtube and they say the 7870 is incredible but being told both are better than eachother is very anoying.

These links are the 2 cards i am going to choose between.

www.novatech.co.uk...

www.overclockers.co.uk...

Please help me choose P.S my budget is £250 so the 7870 is right on the mark

Wait until the nVidia 600 series comes out(more so). It's going to stomp on the Radeon.

so buy a lower end card off craigslist and then resell it when the 600 series comes out.

Anandtech did some "basic" tests for comparison. Tom's Hardware does some very thorough tests. And I trust Tom's Hardware over most anything else when it comes to benchmarking. Not only that, but there are plenty of other benchmarking sites that agree with Toms' benchmark tests.

Besides that, you have an AMD system, so might as well get the AMD video card to compliment the AMD hardware you already got.

Get the 7870 and be happy.

Hmmm 275 should run the game fine at lowest settings. I had GTX 260 in SLI witch is = to 285 and was able to run it at highest no AA or DX11. low/medium with one. I think your just being stubborn.

Your 560ti is probably under warranty. RMA it.

Having a really good card with ultra graphics on bf3 then going to a peice of crap card that doesnt even play properly in lowest settings is very annoying, its not me being stubborn i need a new card. Thats why im trying to choose between a HD 7870 or 7950 and yes it was under warranty but i want a better card for the future so im getting a refund
