Things in China are not well these days. The rumored coup has opened up a debate that may not be stopped.
Massive corruption, lawlessness among the the elites, and a sense of a loss seems to prevalent all over Chinese society. China: not a superpower! This article really drives hope the fact that China is not ready for the world stage.

It is the leadership's fault for building all those damned useless ghost cities, among other things. They knew that it was a terrible, terrible long term idea, but much like the US government, personal responsibility isn't too big a priority in their government.

Anyways, China is not going to save the world, they are going to be dragged down into the abyss with us. Let's hope that some positive change comes out of this, in the end.

China has been "corporatized" by the international cartels.

Banking/Industrial/Commercial

The neo-Marxist complex has been "adjusted" and re-consolidated to fit the financial agendas.

The "kickoff" was when Nixon went to China.

Here is a list of companies we've confirmed are "Exporting America." These are U.S. companies either sending American jobs overseas, or choosing to employ cheap overseas labor, instead of American workers

So China isn't gonna be the new superpower after all. Well then who's the New Superpower North Korea?

Here is the explanation on why North Korea can be a new superpower

ps3.ign.com...

In the article it mentions also that China crumbled

"As America suffers the fate of economic downturn and global oil crisis, it was rational to assume that China would be in worse shape after losing its biggest customer" in the United States. What gives China leverage over the United States today -- its massive monetary loans -- would actually be their downfall in the future history Kaos created, according to Kim. "China is currently holding over two trillion in US dollars... that would lose a lot of their value. [China] would be too busy dealing with its internal situations to deal with the outside world," an identical place the United States finds itself in when Korea began to annex countries in the Pacific.

As long as the China CCP gov refuses to embrace democracy and allow democratic institutions whereby discussions and debates are allowed to flow responsibly free by all, or at least the majority, China's collapse is only a matter of time, made worse with its determination to control the lives of 1.3 Billion people.

For all its military might of 1 million strong army, it is only a mere puddle in the large ocean of its citizens should they one day rise and scream enough is enough, and soon. And with its flexing of rapacious muscles in african and asian resources, along with its lack of concern and responsibilities to the world humanity by continually going against world united opinion at the UN security council, it will face both internal and external dissension of massive magnitude.

Probably one cargo plane will standby on the tarmac for the top dogs in the CCP gov to flee when alll hell breaks lose in China, to fly them to Switzerland for early retirement. They certainly had milked the chinese people dry and enough after 70 odd years of murders, reprehension and absolute social irresponsibility to the 1.3 billion folks.

Today, it claims that it had acheived tech superiority comparable to western nation. They are phasing out cottage factories and are moving towards tech manufacturing. They boast of their space faring capabilities while a billion and more chinese lacks social expenditure in health and education. Without stealing those very tech from the west, enticing foolish and greedy western tech manufacturers into China, the CCP gov would have been no different from another tin pot banana republic dictator such as those in Africa.

Corruption of the extreme kind exists and is not easily rectified, due to the nature of repressive rule by the CCP gov. 'Guan-xi' ( connections ) is the only way to set up biz and even to make a miserable buck. If you do not know any or a few of the CCP million card waving members, and have the bribes to pay, then you can go starve. Make some noise and you would be made to disappear into the night, under the guise of ' anti-communist troublemaker'.

Sicilly's Mafia organisation pales in comparison to grand daddies of the CCP whom rule today. At the least the Mafia cannot totally control a democratic state, nor have the bullets to murder millions, the brutal CCP gov takes the cake and has history to prove they dare go that extra mile to be top dogs, never afraid to step upon the skulls of humans to stand up tall.

They and many other foreign CCP gov bootlickers claimed that within years, China will become the top economy of the world. WIth 1.3 billion, it is a fact. 1.3 billion people do have the capability to manufacture more and at the same time will have needs to be met.

HOWEVER, GDP growth may NOT translate into social expenditure growth for the 1.3 billion citizens, espacially when there is no accountability for money spent. Corruption and frivolous military/science projects will definately eat up that tax revenue pie, leaving next to nothing for the common masses.

And when the common masses have nothing, they have NOTHING to lose anymore. Pitchforks are already being sharpened today.

Better China breaks up into smaller states, given autonomy for those state to take care of their own, within a Chinese Union headed by a democratic government, then to grab every thing and stupidly and dictatorially presumed nothing will fall, and even worse, to conquest for more by swallowing up neighbours.

Massive corruption, lawlessness among the the elites, and a sense of a loss seems to prevalent all over Chinese American and European society.

Nothing new there then.

BTW China has actually dumped much of it's US debt I understand so to the other poster quoting this - not it won't happen.

I've been following the noises coming out of China lately, very interesting but I don't think they are anywhere near a collapse. If anything we've got the EU countries like Greece and Spain that will fall first and of course the USA is going down the drain quickly as well.

China has been buying as much Gold and Silver as they can lately as well as making moves with BRICS to form their own bank and circumvent the US dollar. They are no dummies, they know whats up and are definitely making plans.

Maybe this is a US job to destabilize the area? I'll be watching anyways, thanks for the info!

If SHTF, those ghost cities could be filled with occupants. Considering some worst case scenarios, China mainland is in a particularly good goegraphical area, well above sea level!

In the meantime China appears to the rest of the world, to be suffering it's own dilemma's, I believe in announcing the truth. Nothing new here. They elite will always just play politics and pretend We aren't there!

Another thing to keep in mind with the ghost cities, is they have done that here in Canada as well. I live in Vancouver and this city is run by La-Ki Shing and his family, they built it and own most of downtown. If you have ever been here you will see a great city skyline filled with rows and rows of glass condos. What most people dont realize is that most of these condos are owned by people in China and they do not live in them so they sit empty most of the year. If the SHTF in China, best believe all those condo lights are turning on!

Hi wrdwzrd/smiley face;

Yes in fact I have been to beautiful Vancouver and parts/smiley face; this area also will be safe if SHTF, as long as you are inland. The Chinese know this, I'm sure. A great website with some indepth thinking, that I'm sure the Chinese leaders follow is called "ning the next pole shift", I believe.
Ning creators know along the cascadia fault, next to vancouver I believe it is called, is due to rise in elevation during a pole shift.
Previous huge upheavals can be seen in the rockies of B.C. all the way down to Colorado, wow.

I have seen the results of cataclysmic instanteous mountain building in B.C. and through the rockies, spectacular!
All the Gov'ts know what's causing all this choas everywhere! everywhere! They just are a bunch of pussies who are to afraid to speak out loud/ sad face;

Get your own affairs in order and don't wait for FEMA!/ scared face;

It is good to see that political reform is no longer on the taboo list,
It will take lots of time, discussion and planning for any positive progress to be made, but getting it on the agenda and exploring options is a great start.
