Did U.S.-based mercenaries in Libya assist in the assassination of Col. Muammar Qadaffi
see
americanfreepress.net...
Now I was no fan of Qadaffi but if he was really that bad of a dude his own people would have taken him out without outside assistance. The use of
mercenaries in no way absolves the US from having interfered in the internal affairs of a foreign country contrary to international law but at which
we excel be it wet (blood) or dry (bribes).
By the way Qadaffi paid the Carter admin (thru whiz on the tarmac brother Billy) a princely sum to be able to sell oil to the US. When Reagan assumed
office and wanted his 'gift' Quadaffi balked and got a missile attack in return and later a disastrous CIA attempt to shoot his plane down. The
missile hit the wrong plane and killed hundreds of civilians.
The entire 'Arab spring' smells. Whose agenda is it and what is that agenda? Expanding our sphere of influence to get oil and/or contain Russia? I
expect the entire plan will backfire with radicals assuming power or could that be the agenda.
