A simple google search turns up NOTHING but stories about what the "funeral director" said about the body, when he was preparing it for the services. Now I understand that some families may want to be left alone, in a time of grief and tragedy, however, not this family. They could not be silenced, and are still holding rallies and marches. So, my question remains, where and when were the services? The way this whole thing went down, and how people from the POTUS, to the Miami Heat team, one would think there would be a open service, or at the VERY LEAST, news about the funeral. Yet not a bloody thing!!!! I am beginning to wonder if this case ever really existed, or is an invention of the media and the Obama admin to take away our second amendment rights. Seriously, whats the deal? Do any ATSers have any news about a funeral service we can link to? I really hate to beat a dead horse here, but this story is smelling a little worse day by day IMO.

Is there a more reputable source than some "author". I mean, where are the NEWS stories covering it. He was buried awfully quickly when there was such a "difficult" case to solve. What about evidence? This funeral director just recently came out and said there was no sign of a struggle, or any marks on Trayvons knuckles, shouldnt a documented EXPERT be revealing this possibly damning evidence, rather than the local funeral home guy? Just sayin...

Also, your right, I dont really believe it, especially with the TAPE that appears to be holding the placard on the stone. What is up with that?

Sorry if I was a little mean. When you think about it, Trayvon was buried before this whole mess blew up. Contrary to their current actions, I'm sure his parents wanted some privacy to mourn the lost of their son, and didn't want to make is funeral a public spectacle. Now that he is laid to rest, they bring awareness to his death and peruse whatever action they wish.

I think it might be temporary placard, while the "official" one is being made. Kinda like a temporary head stone that you see on graves sometimes. It's taped so they can remove it later and replace it with the permanent one, which I'm sure has been done by now.

Edit: Oh, I came up with an idea that will save you the trip to Florida, hehe.
You can call the cemetery and ask if Trayvon Martin was really buried there and when. Here's their contact info.

Oh, well thanks for clearing that up. I would think some kind of epoxy, would look a little cleaner. What a disrespect to the deceased IMO, tape, and its all wrinkly at that. Boy, they need to hire better tapers at that place.

Well, dude, if you are really that interested in fining out the truth than take my suggestion and call the cemetery tomorrow and see what they say. Be sure to post their reply, if its "no" I will admit I'm wrong and apologize profusely.

Edit: Check my edit above for contact info.

Interesting post, star for thinking outside the box. However I fail to see the real relevance. He was killed on 2/26/2012, at night. Buried on 3/3/2012 (above info). If anything that's a sufficient time for the medical examiners and coroners to gather evidence. Figure they had the 27th, 28th, 29th, 1st, and 2nd.

That's a decent amount of time.

I would know because I'm currently in school for crime scene investigation.
