Clinton Won't Campaign for Obama

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be joining in the effort to reelect President Barack Obama. "Senior administration officials confirmed on Monday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would not be joining the president on the campaign trail, given the explicit need to avoid making her position appear political," the Huffington Post reports.

"Though Clinton has said she will leave the State Department at the end of Obama's first term, she will still be Secretary of State as he ratchets up his general election campaign against Romney," according to the Huffington Post. "Clinton's role, of course, requires more than just a deft diplomatic (and often apolitical) touch. It also requires her to travel extensively across the globe. (Clinton is not the first Secretary of State to sit an election season out; Colin Powell did not join President George W. Bush on the campaign trail.)"

The article does not detail why Clinton is expected to sit out this election, though she is perennially named as a potential replacement of Vice President Joe Biden on the ticket and as a possible 2016 Democratic candidate.

I wonder if it would help Obama's campain to drop Joe Biden and take Hillary on a Vice President? Of course we all know why he's got Joe as VP. Having Joe as VP is better than wearing full body armor.

Having Hillary as his VP would be very smart for him. That way not only is he getting the stupid male vote, but, he gets the stupid female vote as well.

Having Hillary as VP would mean never going near the state of Arkansas.

Not that that isn't doable . . . just something to think about.

I think Obama's chances of getting the male vote are slim to nil given the Obama's administrations penchant for male hating and male bashing....
