Im watching a documentary right now on channel 4 :

Horizon : Global weirding

Near the start I saw a clip of a plane flying through the eye of the storm I've never seen anything like it!

The closet video I could find on youtube to what it looked like was this:



The guy on the doc says its like flying into a 30 mile wide football stadium!

Insane it looks like a giant 30 mile wide bowl wow!

The youtube video doesnt do what I seen on the doc justice cos its in HD and looks insane!

Cool. I'd be wearing a depends if I were on that plane.

Just wait - some idiot will start talking about the "UFO outside the plane."

That was pretty cool.

One thing I have always wanted to do was fly into a Hurricane in a Hurricane Hunter. I have been through a few over the years and i think it would be pretty fascinating and intense to see and experience it from the sky.

It's such a paradox isn't it? The pristine beauty and peacefulness of the sky above the clouds and the vicious power that lies underneath which lead to so much death and destruction. Mother nature is both beautiful and horrifying.
