My download folder is filled with files names in Chinese. I'm sure it has to do with the game I play online, because the images appear to be from the game. I've started to collect them when I began to play the game. I freaked out once about it, but have decided they are benign. I imagine that many online games are made in China. I can think of a few.

I don't know what you mean browser based blockers, script or trackers . How would this effect the chinese attacking my IP?

I asked because theres a number of obvious ways your IP can get into the hands of the hackers, im not doubting your theory, i was just eliminating other possibilities for being targetted.

Nothing personal buddy

"Nothing personal", I'm OK with that, but you mention browser based blockers, script or trackers. I would like to know if any of these are produced in china. If some are, could you tell us which ones. I will avoid them like the plague.

I play xbox live all the time and my credit card info was stolen I had to have my card cancelled. How can we prevent this?

I have a hardware (router with VPN) and software firewall, along with an internet security suite.

Well, since Call of Duty doesn't have proper dedicated servers, if you are the host there are gonna be about 12 people connecting on YOUR "server", maybe that's what your firewall spotted? I'm just trying to find an answer here, but I know it could happen because Call Of Duty chooses a random host, it's not a server that is somewhere in the world...

I believe it. I have given up trying to host a FTP site. As soon as the FTP port is open, China comes invading. It looks like a DDS attack to the machine blocking all the attempted log ons.

It's not only sad but scarey too.
China wants to ruin everything in the world that is not chinese.
Nazi Germany was the same, and in the end, the Nazi's turned against their own people and killed them. History as a way in repeating it's self.

I just had this same exact issue. It actually froze my Norton up. It took me hours to get everything back right.

you know Microsoft stores all credit cards you put on your account. There is no option to remove them. You can just add another. You have to call up and go through a long song and dance to have them manually remove it. Its nuts. NEVER give them credit card info.
