Wanted to say hi, and tell you my UFO story

2nd time poster, wanted say hello, been reading the site for over 2 years now, love it... and I just wanted to tell you all my experience that I had last year.

With that said, I'm going to have to close this thread as it does not comply with the above stated rules. Please, after you have managed to get 20 posts under your belt, start your own thread in one of the appropriate areas.

We have a very strict code in place for our members to adhere to which helps keep the machine 'running smoothly'. One of these is that members need to post their thoughts in the appropriate areas.

You posted what could be a very interesting topic in the "Introductions thread". This area is solely for introducing yourself (as you can see by browsing through other Introduction threads by new members). We apologize for this inconvenience, but its a necessity for a website as large as ours. After you have managed to get 20 posts under your belt, you can then start your own threads in their appropriate areas.

So welcome to the site and thank you for the story. Sorry more have not checked in, usually a personal UFO story is well jumped on.... Wassup guys? Kudos for jumping right in, I have a story too but haven't brought it yet. If I may, could you tell me how far apart the zig and zag appeared to be from your view point when they "stair stepped"? Like instant or a second or two?

I just have to share because it was that life changing for me.....

umm good question... it was seconds... like honestly the way they were moving is just so crazy to explain... the stair step thing I mean really is that one minute it was going right, then reversed to left, then up then up some more, then to the left again then right then down then back up and so fourth... that's what I meant by we all sometimes had trouble keeping up with watching them because it went up and sideways faster than we could comprehend so sometimes I personally had to refocus my eyes.... at one point all of us were looking almost directly up they flew so high.......the shooting star and dogg fight we saw happened more to the right and more slightly above eye level over the horizon... its so hard to explain...

they moved so fast in all directions.... up down left right you name it, changing direction on a dime and FAST acceleration and HOVERING... staying in one spot then moving fast again....... one would go one way the other the other way, like i said they stayed almost in groups like 2 this is how it happened in fast time....

to the left doing stair stepping up, hover, right, hover, up, right, up, right, up, hover, almost copying one anothers moves, and then the 2 to the right that were going more sideways, right fast, hover, left fast, hover, right, up,left fast again, then the fighting /playing chicken comming right at eachother it looked like one fired but was a shooting star???? I dont want to go so far as to say fired on eachother, training on eachother maybe??? but IT WAS not fighter jet flying.... trust me my family saw something UNREAL that night,.... I WISH everyone could have seen what we saw.... hope that answered your question, I am trying to be as discriptive as possible, its so vivid in my memory, I can colse my eyes and see it again.... I am just horrible with distance and spacial stuff in general, sorry.... but i'm tryin.......

Abrupt angular changes in direction and then freeze in position, then again jump, jump, jump. Weird huh? Complete violation of ordinary flight characteristics. Like jumping in and out of space time? Wish I could have seen yours. Mine only changed abrupt direction one time but wow was that weird. You just know what you seen was not earth technology, and yet... it was technology.

Only as an aside... there are other considerations about what it could have been. Yours was powerful but do you know of the blimps nowadays that have led panel displays that combine lasers and beacons to make a "moving billboard"? If your "pairs" of objects were closely paired, would that explain it? Also, did colors run full spectrum or were they limited? Just an inquisition, this is ATS after all.

*** Please be at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward), and act like an 'civil' adult. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

*** Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride your on. Before getting on a ride, you should be mentally fit, emotionally stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

*** Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might think or expect. At times, you may learn something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride, this is a natural and normal phenomena.

*** Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.
