62 meter astroid will be comming between the Earth and Moon

Not necessarily true.

The body that is thought to have been responsible for the Tunguska event could have been as small as 60 m, and it could easily have taken out a big city.

That said, the chances of an object like that hitting a heavily populated area were always going to be very small. Two thirds of the earth is covered by ocean, and only a small percentage of the remainder has a significant population.

As PageAlaCearl and Damrod pointed out, NEOs this size wizz by us all the time... but they very rarely enter our atmosphere.

The larger and more dangerous objects out there are less common, but we know where most of those are now, so they don't pose that much of a threat.

Lovejoy passes even closer, and I think was larger?? but you couldnt even see it with a naked eye. I dont anticipate any effects from this one.

However, I do find it curious that is not listed on the upcoming 'Close Approach Data'. OP, how did you find this?
I would definitely consider this a 'close approach'.

I would imagine that you could see it with 10 x 50 binoculars. It would be even more visible if we saw it between the Earth and Moon.
