Do Luciferians, Satanists of Gnostics Believe 2012 is Special

So many people seem to think that 2012 is important. Some believe the world will end, some believe there will be an "awakening" and some believe it will be the beginning of the "End Times". There are also those who believe that our world leaders are Luciferians who are intentionally creating all types of natural disaster. Here is my question to anyone who considers themselves a knowledgeable Luciferian, Satanist or Gnostic, do you believe anything special will happen in 2012?

Just to be clear, I personally am not saying anything special will happen this year; however, there are many very well known New Age people who believe something will happen this year and many on this site who believe that the world leaders are followers of Lucifer and I would like to hear from some who are followers and what they think about all this. I also understand that the beliefs will be personal beliefs and not represent all who consider themselves the same. Peace.

I've studied a great deal of Gnostic texts and literature, and have yet to see the date 2012 come up in predictions.

I am a gnostic illuminist and i personally do not see any end of the world/armageddon type things happening this year. However, i do have reason to believe there will be an "awakening" this year or sometime in the very near future though. as far as the world leaders being luciferians, this i know to be untrue. Most world leaders are advocates of the abrahamic religions as it gives them means of control. Change is coming.. I intend to make a thread about this soon.. I will give more detail into what I know, then.

Edit: I am in no way claiming to be a prophet or having any knowledge of future events..

What they advocate and what they believe are two different things. And most world leaders are simply puppet head figures anyway.

No gnostic text or anything like that has told me of an awakening, but those who have introduced me to gnostic illuminism have shared with me the possibility of an "awakening".

I believe this year is special yet do not buy into 2012 end of the world scenario promoted by some.
I have tried to find out the truth regarding an alignment with the Milky Way Centre - which is a black hole that appears to be the powerhouse of our galaxy.
This alignment is said to occur every 25,000 or so years
From my understanding we have been able to map the galactic centre through radio astronomy.
This area is supposed to hide a gigantic black hole which is verified by measuring the orbit of it's closest stars.
In crossing the galactic centre our Sun would take 30 odd years to fully transit it.
Apparently this started around 2000 so one presumes it will be dead centre by say 2015 but who truly knows.
If you look in in another way - Our Sun and all stars are always aligned to the Centre IE You could draw a straight line from any star to the centre of the Milky Way.
Yet alignment is different in that it means 3 cosmic bodys the Sun Earth and Milky Way centre are all in line.
The Milky Way Centre is between the constellations of Sagittarius and Scorpio and called Saggita A

Imagine a circle cut into quadrants and we have what are termed the fixed signs IE Scorpio opposite Taurus and Leo opposite Aquarius - the exact timeline I am unsure of - Though these fixed signs are also represented in Ancient Egyptian Mythology as the Zep Tepi signs ie Scorpion Bull Lion and surprisingly Angel (Water bearer)
At midnight 21st Dec the alignment is supposed to occur
The Sun the Earth aligned to the centre between Scorpio and Sagittarius which Ancient Egyptians called The Southern Stargate (Looking into the centre) opposite is the Northern Stargate between Gemini and Taurus.
When you look at the night sky the Milky Way falls between Gemini and Taurus (this is looking away from the centre) on the Orion Arm of the Milky Way
On the morning of 21st Dec 2012 it is calculated that the Sun will rise against the constellation of Aquarius and will do so for over a 2000 year epoch - it is presently leaving the constellation of Pisces.
Yet who truly knows.
Yet all these things point to a window we have already entered of a cosmic cycle.
Today is today but tomorrow is a new day and though we plan we do not know what it may bring.
Such as how seasons change through cycles there are larger cosmic cycles and to think we are somehow not connected to the larger picture even in a subtle way would be to deny reality.
This is just one aspect of an ongoing mystery that can not be answered by saying everything will carry as normal. Is the way the world is sustainable or is change required - To stay with the way things are is short sighted for if we do not think more deeply about the path we are on then change will inevitably be forced upon us.
2012 has become a focal point for many for what ever reason yet it is part of a window of a cycle and cycles bring changes.
There are changes ahead for Humanity - Be it global political or individual sensibilitys

The alignment is a window more than a specific day or year.
Who knows what tomorrow brings
Personally I think there is an awakening of sorts occurring - The information age has opened up the world of communication.
I feel people are getting better informed yet information is just a key
What can that key unlock is an awakening requiring ones own personal choice
From that choice or intention comes change
Do we stay with things as they are or make the personal change we wish to see in the world.
I believe Nature will have the final say yet I think it prudent to be more in touch with Nature and so our own Nature
Final answer I do not know

I think what I find interesting is that there doesn't seem to be any one group of people who believe 2012 is meaningful or not or even the reason they believe it will be different. Maybe I should have included the Wiccans; but, I didn't think of it at the time. Peace.

The thing I find interesting is that because 2012 has been spotlighted it has become a focal point for doom merchants and debunkers and also those who are truly awakening within.
We are living now and this is the most interesting concept IE We are living 2012 and whatever it may bring.
It is so that that Satanists and others will use this date for their own purposes and if we hold our disbelief for the sake of discussion then there may well be a plan or two hatched by such groups into dates and numbers - Though this is so far mere conjecture by me but also others

I truly did not think that Satanists or any other of the groups I mentioned was attempting to use the date for other reasons. I think people who find it meaningful cut across all groups. There are Muslims, Christians, "New Agers" and people from all types of spiritual backgrounds that think 2012 will be important; but, I have not found any universal support within any group. I would say that the groups most likely to believe that we are in the end times are the Muslims and Christians; but, I don't think either of those groups believes it will end this year. I think they would both be more expected to say that they think we are entering the "End Times".

I am a Christian; but, I do hope you understand that I wasn't attempting to trick anyone or accuse anyone of anything. I was really just trying to find out if the groups I mentioned thought it was meaningful as a group. I don't personally know many Satanists, Luciferians or Gnostics. I know a Wiccan and a Satanist; but, they are not really connected to those communities and I haven't talked to them in 9 months. By the way, neither ever said anything about 2012. Peace.

is a year of un-awakening, if you believe something will happen this year
please state specifically what it is, not an extremely vague statement. This
is the terminology 'psychics' use because it's a calculated scapegoat

Yes conjecture on my part regarding ill intentioned groups/cults.
Most are aware of the Mayan prophesy overlay which takes the date of 21st Dec 2012 and puts it's own spin on it. A cycle it seems with spiritual implications. I am no great student of Ancient Mayan's but from what I understand they the Mayan's were keen observers of cosmic cycles.
The Zep Tepi cycle is my own interpretation but is not specific date lined for 2012.
Zep Tepi means the First Time and is believed to be a time when th pantheon of gods and goddesses came to Earth - Yet the translation of god goddess meaning is misrepresented as Ancient and original Egyptian philosophy recognized One Creator or source only. But I digress

That you are a Christian is more than fine with me - I have many Christian friends.
I guess John's revelation is being used to indicate End Times yet the same thing occurred in 1300
Dante even speaks of such a time or vision at the end second book of The Divine Comedy which speaks of cosmic cycles - yet is not dated.
I have read Gnostic texts but find no hard evidence suggesting this year
Yet all in all the overriding theme is of changes be it spiritual or earthly events.

So to sum up I have not got a clue and will wait to see what unfolds as the years progresses - But business as usual IE painting, writing growing food etc and spending Christmas with loved ones.
