Getting Back to Firehose Page from a Thread.

Why is it when I close a thread to go back to the firehose page that the ads come up, but it takes forever for the titles of threads to appear?

I can always cut that wait short by keying the return arrow again, bringing up the home page and clicking on the new titles. That quickly brings up the firehose page with the titles. And I frequently find that it has more recent new threads than if I wait for the page to reappear in the normal way. Whydatdodat?

Same here. I "fix it" by not clicking anything until page loads.

Then scroll down.

Some of the "ad servers" appear to have issues. They seem overloaded or something. Many ads need to timeout first (for me at least) before the page proper loads. Hope it helps.
