Rather odd the equatorial reigon seems relatively cloud free. Shouldn't the rainy season be starting about now? Seems mostly clear from the tropic of cancer to the tropic of capricorn.

Is there a radio/static/energy/heat/colour image for that area? It's about this time I wish I were more scientific, but do you know what I mean?

Is this the calm before the storm? I see the poles are covered and south-east Asia and Oceania have a cloud bubble.

This is today's NRL sat view, along with a North Polar view from
weather.cod.edu...
as well, Both are in IR.
