MSM still pushing Paul/Romney conspiracy theories

History suggests the two men are already in cahoots.

This article is full of lies, saying Ron Paul's goal was never to win the presidency and a history of being in cahoots with Romney, and a delusional dream of having ron paul supporters voting for romney lol. Good luck with that last part.

So the fuzzy logic of the lame stream media thinks that Paul has zero chance because he has so few delegates, yet somehow this will benefit Romney if they team up? A more obvious coalition would be between Santorum and Romney since they are practically identical and just taking votes from each other (its all rigged) but instead they try to push this nonsense that Paul is in last place but his last place standing will somehow help Romney win, even though Romney will get the 1144 delegates on his own? Thats like saying Seabiscuit has almost won the race, but he needs help from the donkey in last place to really finish the win lol.

Romney takes the cities and moderates. WHile Santorum, Newt and Paul split up the rural conseratives. Romney Paul would work because Paul brings a small loyal group from that group to ad to Romneys dominace in the other group. Taking Santorum or Newt would bring more of those supporters but with more supporters they would also bring more demands. Paul would bring just enough to make sure Romney gets over the hump with some breathing room. Paul can sell it to his followers as a bigger and better way to push his agenda. It would be a win win for both of them Paul is old and I am sure he would like to known for something beyond a congress man who never got anything done. And Pauls followers will get in line.because that is what they do.

A Romney/Paul ticket will sway independent and even some Democrats to vote GOP. Those who blindly support Santorum will vote for whoever the GOP throws out there, putting him on the ballot would ensure Obama's victory because Latinos, women, and pretty much anyone capable of thinking for themselves won't vote for him. Gingrich has way too much baggage.

Not gonna happen. Its Ron Paul or not at all. I head a lot of RP delegates will vote for Ron Paul or hold onto their vote. They have no intentions of voting for any of the other 3 candidates.

The article isn't suggesting Ron Paul becoming Romney's VP...just that he will back him in order to get a prime speaking part at the convention.

For some reason, it seems that is all Ron Paul is concerned about.

And he isn't running for re-election for his house seat, so if he can't clinch the nomination....does he really care what his supporters think??? This is his last chance to get the speaking part at the convention that he has desperately wanted for the past 4 years.

The only thing the media means by this is to make Paul look like he isn't a serious candidate, in hopes of killing or at least weakening his campaign.

There isn't anything suggesting that this will happen, and everything suggests it isn't. For the media to be grasping at straws like this, instead of just ignoring him as usual, suggests to me that even they recognize that he has a good chance at this point.
