Checking in from Louisville. I've been outside most of the evening around my chiminea with friends drinking a few home brews celebrating my 40th and did not see what you described. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, just that I didn't see it.

Checking in from Louisville as well. Was out jogging late night and did not see anything. Nor have I heard any other reports yet.

OP, where along 75 did you see this?

Yeah right! a few helicopters seen in formation somewhere else some other time prove it had to be that?
get a grip, lets take the OPs word and work With it.....Helicopter flights in the dark, are not really the most common happenings even with NPVS vision....
The military would be the only out fit to mount a large enough flight of choppers in the dark to produce this effect....should be a simple FAA check but i am not in the US.....
Wheres the ATS spirit here......somebody get on it......

I am writing a post again to let you know WE did see the triangle. and it is the second time. My husband saw it about a month ago and told me. I told him if he ever saw it again to call me. He did call me out on March 14th about 8:40 and sure enough there it was. We live out in the boonies of ky so we could CLEARLY watch it.
I ran back and got my trusty camera, But it failed me , big time..It kept sticking and none of the settings would work. I took a shot of the stars. (Just to have a reference point.) But then when I tried to get the ufo. NOTHING!!
I could see it , but it would not show up on the camera screen. I took 12 shots and 1 vid. But all I got was one shot of a couple of stars. The rest were completly black! I now have 3 diferent cameras and a different Video camera. All waiting. Just in case. But yes you did see it and so did we! I am a trained weather spotter and my husband is retired Military , We have seen a lot of things in the sky, But this was NOT anything we are used to seeing. Also the 3 red lights stayed in formation for the complete flight across the horizon. They did not waver or move out of alignment. Whatever it is it IS together a triangle shape and HUGE.

Thank you so much for your reply! I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. My teenage daughter ended up having to have a pretty serious emergency surgery and was in the hospital for a while, so I haven't been keeping up with anything on here. I'm so glad someone else saw this! I talked to one other person that reported seeing something very similar in Laurel county on the same night. It's so frustrating to not be able to get a decent pic or video, huh? Now that things are calming down around here with my daughter, I'm going to try my best to get back to sky watching at night and hopefully this thing will pop up again. Wonder what in the world it is?? I'm betting military but even so, it's interesting and really makes you wonder what they're doing with it!

EDIT: Ok, just looked back and you posted today so I'm not so late getting back to you, haha! It's been a crazy last couple of weeks and I didn't even think to check the date when I first your post, lol.

Not a problem. Maybe one of us will be lucky and get a shot of it..
I know one thing. as big as it is. They dont have to worry about us doing anything to them!
If it is our Military, then we are getting help from someone else.. We arn't that
smart yet

Yeah, the sheer size of it was amazing, if it was one solid object. When it crossed over interstate 75, it was wider than the interstate. So considering that it had some altitude, that's fricken huge!!!

The person in Laurel county that saw it said she was outside with her telescope, just sky watching at the time and what she saw was one large solid object with no lights on it surrounded by many separate crafts, as if they were escorting it and the smaller crafts zipped around really fast. I didn't see them zipping around, but otherwise, her account sounds very similar to what I saw. Did you see any "zipping" action? lol!
