Help! Gif's and JPG's are Blank and Red.

For a couple of weeks now whenever I go to some websites, the Gif's and Jpg's are just a blank red spot. I tried upgrading java platform. That didn't work.

It's really not that big of a deal, the only thing important I haven't been able to see is the radar on the Weather Channel website, and it does away with a lot of ad's. But I'd still like to get rid of it.

Any ideas on what this could be would be GREATLY appreciated!!
