good grief, its a child with a birth defect or some religious mania caused the parents to deform their child.

Yes it was more common way back when and No you don't see it every day now and that's because we now have science that corrects such deformities before they get out of hand.

Good grief sometimes I despair.

To me this looks like hydrocephalus with trepidation in the top of the skull to relieve it (giant hole in the top). It's interesting, but hydrocephalus looks like the answer.

that's what i thought too..... or that it was a tradition to expand the skull somehow and the hole had something to do with the expansion. there are multiple skulls though so i don't think it was just a condition because that's too rare. how could they have so many skulls that shape if they were born with a condition? either they made themselves look like that or it was a predominant trait for their people.

There are rare animals that are almost extinct and their are thousands of species that have gone extinct. Humans are not impervious to the pattern.

There were dozens of different kind of human in the past. Many went extinct. The mummy and oddities found in south america and around the world could explain this.

Sorry, no aliens. Human. Always has been. What a lost history we have.

It looks to me like they are getting us ready for disclosure, releasing interesting bits of information slowly getting us warmed up to the idea that "they" exist.........then again I could be totally wrong and this could be fake

The bones found in Andahuaylillas belong to two children aged between zero and 3 years old, and not "aliens", as noted archaeologist Rene Davila.

The skeletal remains of Andean Rituals private museum in the district of Andahuaylillas, Cuzco, corresponding to two pre-Hispanic infants undergoing cranial deformation processes, which belies the anthropologist Renato Davila, who had noted that the mummy belonged to "beings aliens ", but later recanted.

Anthropologist Elva Torres, head of the Office of Physical Anthropology of the Regional Directorate of Culture, Cusco, reported that the first individual corresponds to a child who has lost the lower post mortem.

The skull, said the expert-type strain shows ring and you can see traces of the deformed pads frontal and occipital bone and the marks left by deforming the parietal bands.

In addition, the specialist explained that as a result of cranial deformation, orbital cavities were enlarged and still see part of the eyeball in the right orbit. The infant had died after three or four years.

Regarding the cranial sutures, said they are in the process of closing, including the fontanelle, a process occurs in childhood but may last longer depending on many factors.

According to a local newspaper, regarding the second skeleton, corresponds to a baby from zero to one years and has the incomplete skull and found that only parietal and occipital bones articulated to the rear of the skull.

The archaeologist said Sunday that the distortion Farfan prehispanic skull were made with small tables, molds and headbands for children under three years in various towns of Tahuantinsuyo as an indicator of social status or as a mark of a religious nature.

Quoting this for people who may have missed it. Sometimes reading the whole thread before posting "ITZ AN ALIEN!!1!" helps.

For those screeching that it was a baby, and therefore could not have had teeth, dear god, google "NATAL TEETH" and learn about it. I'm almost incredulous that you haven't heard of this. Yes, babies can be born with some, to a full set of, chompers. Not common, but it definitely happens. I'm not even remotely sure how common being born with third molars/wisdom teeth is (let alone how common early eruption of them is) but I would imagine that if Junior is born with teeth, Junior might pop the molars early as well.

I don't think it's alien, like many have said on here perhaps just a human mutation or deformity... still what an awesome find - thanks for sharing

Isn't there an African tribe of people who put rings around their necks making their necks much longer than they should be? Wonder what their skeletons look like? Maybe this could have been something like that?

Here is a link I found, seems its not just Africans... (oh how little I know
)

When I watched the quick video showing the skull from the front and right (facing) side, it almost looks like part of the skull has a crack from just above eye sockets to underneath the jaw. Would it be possible to take two separate skulls and splice them together? If you were looking for a hoax.

Course, I am sure the anthropologist would have noticed...

That is one of the sutures in a human skull.

As you can see from the above diagram, the lines and markings are consistent with human infants.
