Liberty Century

George Bush the second declared the 21st Century to be the �Liberty Century� before the United Nations today. I actually laughed out loud.

Maybe he�s talking about someone�s liberty to drive this little planet to the brink of world war while filling his or her pockets?

Maybe he�s talking about someone�s liberty to impose the patriot act, a new intelligence organization and a new surveillance society?

Maybe he�s talking about someone�s liberty to impose economic policies that have been proven failures in the past?

Is that someone George Bush? the neocons? the tech-military-industrial complex? the government ruling class?

Because he sure can�t be talking about the sufferers of the �liberty� he exercises, nor of the decreased liberty we all now enjoy.

Maybe George is talking about changing all of those yellow and red countrie blue.
