Anyways I hate to repeat myself but I will here.....When is the last time anyone has seen a deep blue sky and I mean deep blue?

I will not be baited anymore here and I will stick to the issue at hand here..... Namely the night pictures of the suspicious jet trails spreading out.

Heck I won't even mention the sun either.
Regards, Iwinder

I hate to repeat myself as well but I will because I already answered that question, probably only 3 or 4 times a year here in the UK the same as every year for the last 40 years or so.Another repeat here but the sky outside at the moment is EXACTLY the same as it is in that 100 year old photo taken in Russia,if I wasn't just off to work I'd prove it.
I genuinely see nothing suspicious about persistent contrails during the night, how they form and propagate afterwards has nothing to do with light or dark but are possibly more likely in the colder and stiller air during the night.

Your flat out trying to say the skies are no different today than they were years ago.

...and that is a sack of poop.

I described how I think things are different now. You've not described how you think they are different.

Do you think there's something going on other than more contrail-induced cirrus?

Well, as with all things there are points that need clarification. Yes they can produce very accurate colors BUT...

... they need to be white balanced.

That first image you show looks incorrectly white balanced to me.

incorrect white balance ....................... correct white balance

The second image has still been post-processed to increase the saturation, boosting the memory colors. This is what it would actually look like in a photo taken with correct white balance, and no enhancements.

And my image of the sky has the exact same white balance in both images. White balance changes hue, not saturation.

Color perception and color memory are very dependent on the individual, and on the circumstances. Taking the memories of a few individuals is not good evidence, especially as the vast majority of people have NOT noticed any such changed. And old photos show skies that look much like modern skies?

How could you objectively demonstrate this change in the sky?

There is a "reason" why (the) discussions on Boards such as "ATS" tend to flounder....

....it is because of the "nature" of the Interet.

Sadly, it seems, it is the "other" nature of some (not particularly "this" OP) ....but, others (sadly) all to often, it's the "Same ole, Same ole...:

Too often, and WAY "too" repetitive....

Shame.

Sadly it seems to me that certain posters will always use CAPS when it is WAY too OFTEN!
I am deaf not blind here.

I humbly apologize IF you took ANY offense to my style of writing, on these ATS Board Forums.

What is being written here will "go down" in near perpetuity.

(The above is pointed out ONLY because.....it is the nature of the "InterWebz"....'nothing' is ever deleted, apparently).

(WE should ALL remain 'mindful' of this fact).

Back to the "topic"....it has been thoroughly discussed......there are no "overt" 'geoengineering' projects currently u underway.

IF THERE WERE.....then they WOULD be very, very, very overt in nature.....try to grasp this simple concept, please!

To each his own here, I will stay stead fast as in our sky's are horrible and not natural.
The joy of ATS does bear some fruits here, many and many people here question and ask but only a few persist in asking is this a
regular occurrence and quite natural and nothing to see here? In my opinion there is lots to see here and hell yes it is bad.

You still have not answered my question from about 10 pages ago?
Are the sky's the same colour now that they were years and years ago?

Also you have yet to disprove anything in the OP'S statement.

You may "feel" that way, of course....but also (of course), you would be wrong.

Please try to accept the failure.

Not a "pleasant" taste, I know.....

I do feel that way, but right now I have this sudden urge to confess that I would be wrong.
I am accepting the failure and now that you mention it I can taste it too.
It is for sure not a pleasant taste at all here.
I am on my knees now and I do accept the failure of my eyes and memories.
Please please forgive me for my transgressions here on this board.

White balancing is basic photography.

But if you want to claim something else... fine, whatever.

You're right about "white balancing"..

THERE!

We can begin to agree on something!!

Success!!!

Now.....(if only I could perform a "Vulcan Mind Meld".....)

Look....I have (in my life) been "wrong".....pick a subject, and at one point, I have been "wrong"....(relationships....whilst not the topic....just examples).....

I used to say the word "irregardless"....for YEARS I thought that was 'correct'!!! (Until, I was gently corrected).

It's possible, with proper education, to know better.

THIS is my intent. Nothing else.

See ya!

I *try* to explain and to inform.

Dear *OP*....would you please take my suggestion?

Go, learn to fly.....(no, it is NOT "inexpensive")....but, you will be better for it, if only the stuff you will learn....

Personally If I had the money I would much rather learn how do they pollute the sky so much and I think that would be
a ground class possibly somewhere in the Monsanto research building.

Being sky high does not help you understand what is falling below.

I would love to be a pilot

Too bad I'm so broken.

I'm sure they won't accept a PTSD vet with depression/anxiety disorder (What VA/Military uses instead of PTSD when they kick out vets).

Even If I could come up with the 20-50k for flight school... so really not much reason to try. *sigh*

Well your intent is is the right place and I must say you do post some really great information and links.
I think if you want to keep your job you should try to be a little more human like in this post and for sure
whatever your intent is knock off the caps!

You never know.......I too am out of the race to be a Pilot as I am deaf, dumb, and according to Proud Bird and his love of using CAPS I am blind too! :-)

Your not broken, just a little bent and you can always knock a dent out.

Hang in there, and for the life of me I have no idea why the VA is so tuff on you guys there?
I usually don't follow the news that much but even here in Canada there are stories about vets getting the real big
screw around once they come home.

Back to the topic now, Right up until my post now no-one has disproved your photos as not real and no-one has explained why this spreading out happened so fast either.

Excellent work there and keep snapping those pictures if your able to.

Sorry to hear about PTSD.

This is the first I've heard it as a "disqualification" for an Airman's Certificate. If one can obtain a "Medical", then one can obtain an Airman's Certificate (after properly passing all required written, oral and practical examinations).

There is a "new" category, that was introduced some years ago.....it is the "Sport Pilot" certification. This has a lesser "requirement".

I know little about it, since (as I mentioned) it was introduced just some years ago....and is not pertinent to me.

But, here is what I researched online:

www.sportpilot.org...

You ("pianopraze") are not "broken", merely due to PTSD symptoms. In fact, (and I may only be guessing), it may not be as severe as you imagine.....unless or/and until you investigate whether it is, indeed, an impediment.

(Insert on edit: There are certain Veteran's Benefits you may wish to investigate.....that relate to flying lessons.....you should look into it!!)

You have already exhibited some profound creativity ("pianopraze"), which is a fabulous outlet for you. You CAN, also, take flying lessons.....even IF it is determined that you cannot qualify (due to medical issues)....you would, at least, learn some things, and be able to (better) understand aviation, and what I provide in my (limited) way......
