Here's what I'm finding at the moment.

ACTUALLY, I'M QUITE IMPRESSED WITH THE SITE.

I think there's a wealth of data there that could occupy days of fruitful study. I'll have to try and keep tabs on that site.

Very interesting stuff.

I think it is basically well done and well presented.

He could do better at choosing some of the colors for more contrast on many of the maps.

However, he's presented a huge amount of information in a pretty clear format.

Kudos to him for that.

I hope to add other stats from other sites as I can make time to glean the better ones.

Here's an interesting graph but I don't see any key as to what the different colors and lines mean:

www.larryhatch.net...

On the following--evidently the white curved line--hard to see--is the smoothed UFO sightings against the meteor shower stats.

UFO SIGHTINGS Monthly Histograms, compared by Continents:

www.larryhatch.net...

UFO MAP OF NORTH AMERICA:

www.larryhatch.net...

MONTHLY UFO SIGHTINGS HISTOGRAM COMBINED:

The last half of the years seem to persistently have significantly more sightings:

UFO MAP SOUTH AMERICA:

www.larryhatch.net...

MAP OF EUROPEAN SIGHTINGS:

FRANCE AND THE UK SEEM TO HAVE THE VAST MAJORITY:

www.larryhatch.net...

LANDINGS AND TRACE CASES MAP SOUTH AMERICA:

There is the usual bulge of UFOs around 2100 hours, but we also see a surprising secondary hump of activity between 0100 and 0500 hours.

www.larryhatch.net...

LANDING AND TRACE CASES MAP NORTH AMERICA:

NM again has above average, it seems. Interesting.

www.larryhatch.net...

NORTH AMERICA ENTITY SIGHTINGS MAP:

White dots indicate sightings of 'Entities' associated with UFOs. These could be robotic, biological or anything in between. This database tags humanoids, robots, pseudo-humans, "men in black", monsters and giants separately. Here entities are all lumped together for a better map.

www.larryhatch.net...

ELECTROMAGNETIC EFFECTS MAP NORTH AMERICA:

Here we plot UFO sightings with apparent Electro-Magnetic Effects (EME). 626 EME cases are listed for North America, about half the EME in this database. Oddly, these tend to occur on Wednesdays far more than Mondays. November (92 cases) and October (72) are the busiest months in North America for all years combined.

www.larryhatch.net...

UFO SAMPLING BEHAVIOR IN NORTH AMERICA:

UFO sightings shown are limited to cases where possible samples or specimens were taken in North America, for all years. 'Sample' means taking soil, water, plants, animals (or parts of them), grass, crops, gravel, asphalt .. possibly as specimens.

www.larryhatch.net...

UFO BY SHAPE MAP NORTH AMERICA:

Different colored dots represent different shaped UFO's.

The green is too hard to distinguish from the blue--particularly at much of a distance from the screen. I hope he changes that at some point.

Three general UFO shapes are overlaid here. Layer #1 in Blue are disks, cones, ovoids, plates and spheres. Violet is for cigars, cylinders, fuselages, cigarette shapes.. Layer #3 in Green indicates angular forms: flying triangles, deltoids, diamonds, rectangles etc.

www.larryhatch.net...

ABDUCTION MISSING TIME UFO MAP NORTH AMERICA:

Evidently only a minority of such cases are mapped . . . not sure all the reasoning on that score.

SOBERING . . . again NM seems to have some above average areas . . . around . . . drum roll . . . Dulce

EVENING VS NON-EVENING SIGHTINGS IN NORTH AMERICA:

www.larryhatch.net...

UFO SIGHTINGS NORTH AMERICA 1990'S:

www.larryhatch.net...

WESTERN USA MAP:

www.larryhatch.net...

AUSTRALIA MAP:

www.larryhatch.net...

IT SEEMS TO ME, that the critters and their UFO's seem to like population centers . . . much more than other areas . . . which flies in the face of the notion that they mostly occur in out of the way rural places. Evidently NOT.

CHINA AND JAPAN MAP:

www.larryhatch.net...

CLOCK HOUR DISTRIBUTION HISTOGRAM:

From that statistics site above . . . there's this:

www.larryhatch.net...

The Eltanin Antenna Identified !
The USNS Eltanin , an ice breaking cargo ship, was launched and acquired by the US Navy in 1957. Reclassified as an Oceanographic Research Vessel for the National Science Foundation in 1962, it became the world's first Antarctic research ship.

On 29 August 1964 (per this account) while coring and photographing the deep sea bottom West of Cape Horn, the Eltanin took the photo shown here. The position was 59:07'S by 105:03'W, depth 3904 meters. See this Map

Scientists then on board could not identify the strange object, which gave it an aura of mystery. Bruce Cathie of New Zealand devised a Planetary Grid System around it, of such influence that atomic bombs could only detonate in certain special times and places. Cathie made improvements to Einsteins famous equation e = mc^2 in the process. Quite a feat for a former airline pilot.

The Harmonic Conquest of Space

by Bruce Cathie

Ó Copyright 1994, Bruce Cathie, Quark Enterprises Ltd, 158 Shaw Rd, Oratia, Aukland, New Zealand

Nexus Magazine, Oct 1994

"I realised that an all-out atomic war was an impossibility. Both sides could precalculate well in advance the time and positions of atomic attack. Plus the fact that only certain geometric locations could be detonated anyhow. A logical war cannot be considered under these circumstances. This could be the explanation for the proliferation of conventional weapons in modern warfare."

My life changed dramatically in 1952. This was the year that I saw my first UFO. The object was hovering over the Manukau Harbour, Auckland City, New Zealand, in the early evening twilight, and carried out manoeuvres that no known man-made vehicle could accomplish at that time. The thing, whatever it was, had an intensely brilliant white light, with a smaller glowing red light some distance from it, and for about twenty minutes held myself and other witnesses spellbound as it went through a series of right-angle turns, then disappeared straight up into a clear evening sky.

Ever since that time I have collected every bit of information available on the UFO phenomena. During my thousands of hours of flying I have searched the skies constantly and been rewarded with many other sightings. As time went on, I was informed by many other airline pilots in New Zealand that they, too, were sighting objects for which they could find no explanation. It became obvious that either we were being observed by some sort of advanced vehicles coming in from outer space, or that some scientific group on Earth had discovered a principle of physics unknown to the rest of us and that secret research was being carried out.

I never read of this case before:

www.larryhatch.net...

And, I didn't realize there were so MANY sightings in 1947:

www.larryhatch.net...

This one is interesting showing so many sightings in Tasmania. Curious.

I'm not happy to see so many in the Southwestern USA. Sigh.

Wow been looking for something like this, not too flashy, but has lots of data.

Nice find or good work if you made it.

After looking at it more I don't think the stats are too current, maybe better from a historical point of view. Says NY only had 125 since 1975 seems too small a number.

Goodness no.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

However, I didn't make that great site.

Larry Hatch did.

He seems to have had some criteria for weeding out the more spurious sorts of reports. I haven't examined thoroughly enough to ferret out that criteria or process yet.

One way may have been to just collect data from the sources he personaly felt were credible. He has a long list of his sources on his site.

It seems to me he has pretty sound judgment about such things.

As I can manage it the next several days, I hope to see if there's any other such stats available. There weren't a few years ago. Was delighted to find Larry Hatch's site.

I think this Asia Pacific map is interesting . . .

www.larryhatch.net...

Again . . . the emphasis seems to be more near population centers than in rural hinterlands.

That sure seems to go against the standard MSM wail that only hicks in the sticks see the swamp gas. LOL.

BO XIAN.......You did it, you found what I've been trying to get ahold of for ever now. You are my Hero!
I took a quick look at it and it seems to be almost exactly what I was thinking of. He even sorted out some of the junk! And having maps will be a huge help as well.
If only I was at home and not at work. I'm dying to start sifting through all of this information...as you said....Its days and days worth of study. I so appreciate your follow up. When I saw the title of this thread in the forum, I thought, "Really? Is it true?" and sure enough, you delivered. Thank you so...... and of course S&F to you!
I will be back to comment after I venture further into Larry Hatch's Information. Seems good and legit so far!

Thanks for your kind words.

Please post any other stats you find.

I'm really glad we found that site. I hope more and more good stats are gleaned from the available data.

Quite a chore, though. Goodness what incredible yeoman's work was done on that site.

I studied Mr.Hatch's web site for several hours last night. I am impressed with his thoroughness. Its all organized very well and it is so helpful to have the information about meteor showers and planets in close range to compare with sightings. Loads of information to study. I will be checking in on this site for updates as most of the information was for previous years. However, the old information is most important in determining if sightings ARE on the rise because we know, currently, that sightings are happening all over the place, everyday. I'm not convinced that sightings are on the rise. If you take Mr. Hatch's word for it, sightings fluctuate from year to year. If you look at the US map of sightings in the 1990's and in the 1950's you can clearly see a difference. If you compare the 1990's to today, the difference is clear. I know that isn't taking alot of data into consideration, but for a quick look, it doesn't indicate an increase in sightings from past to present, it only further illustrates the fluctuation.
www.larryhatch.net...
www.larryhatch.net...
I found a web site that has some statistics for my local area, as well as the United States as a whole.
www.ufostalker.com...
I just stumbled onto it last nite as I was trying to verify some stuff from the site you found. I'm not sure how credible the source is but its worth a look. There may be more statistics for other specific areas but I haven't got that far into it yet. I want to see how it compares with Mr. Hatch's site. I don't think it is any where near the level of thoroughness but it does have some up to date, almost real time information with it.
www.ufostalker.com...

I'd like to hear what you all think of it. If it isn't a legit site, please point that out to me! The name alone, "UFO Stalker" ,has me wondering.

THANKS TONS.

WILL CHECK THE NEW SITE OUT.

Here's a bit more from here:

www.ufoabduction.com...

How many people are abductees?

Abduction researchers have been personally contacted by thousands of people who have had experiences that abductees have had before they knew they were involved with the phenomenon. Polls have indicated that there may be hundreds of thousands more. By all measures, the phenomenon seems to be widespread throughout the society. Only a small number of these people have been investigated by researchers.

That seems to be unaware of the national Harris poll that indicates upwards of 3 million abductees.

Who is abducted?

Abductees have two commonalities: They are human, and either their mother, father or both were abductees. The abduction phenomenon appears to cut across all class, educational, geographic, intellectual, economic, racial, ethnic, and political lines. We have identified no apparent physiological traits which would determine whether a person is an abductee. At the beginning of the abduction phenomenon, probably in the late nineteenth century, the selection process was most likely random. The phenomenon is global.

From my memory banks . . .Evidently authentic evangelical/born again Christians are not abducted. Supposedly RC's and Jews are underrepresented.

Guy Malone of

www.ANCIENTOFDAYS.NET...

asserts that it requires some occultic involvement, dabbling--a kind of spiritually legal door being opened by the choice of the person involved to allow abductions. Typically they follow down through the generatioins. And families with lots of poltergeist phenomena may also experiences abductions.

Love this graph and page.

Thx thx.

www.ufostalker.com...

Looks like sightings globally have been hovering either side of 20 per day. A couple of peaks up near 40/day. Will be interesting to see what happens the rest of March.

Looks like there's been a spike in sightings up above 45 toward the end of March.

Anyone have any ideas of what that might be about?
