Rap Raid Vol.1: Concept flipping of mainstream rap

Call this a type of Hip hop psychological experiment so to speak. In short, by using familiar mainstream hiphop instrumentals and also using the same rap rhyme schemes, one is able to use mainstream music as a means of spreading actually information. Many people that have listened to it are able to remember alot of the facts that are said within the song. This track is called "Attack Cities" a remake of Tyga's "Rack City". I took the original lyrics which applied to a strip club, and replaced them with information about United States military intervention in the middle east.

This is the mental retardation that is that makes the original song for the people that don't know of it

I could not play the audio for some reason but I really like the lyrics and this is coming from someone that jams to complex hip hop 24/7. Its not complex, you just took some one elses stuff and changed it but thats apart of hip hop. Change context for metaphors.

But I think their is more to your idea then you know. Taking a main stream instrumental. Music for the dumb def and blind and turning it into something that actually matters

You should upload the song to youtube because soundcloud fails a lot and then plan on making a video to go along with it

Visuals are important with peoples attention spans and then it could go viral and all that or a worldstar post (maybe)

Mos def did something similar to this, he fliped "n****** in paris" by jay-z and kanye but made it conscious

Thanks for the input guys, def helps. Yeah.. I try to keep content semi light, or people zone out/ stop listening. I personally don't think its my best work, but alot of people are saying i should make a video with clips of the war etc.... this may come to fruition. When the video is done I'll make sure to send it to both of you.
