In the New Testament the "adversary" has many names, but "Lucifer" is not among them. He is called "Satan" (Matt. 4:10; Mark 1:13, 4:15; Luke 10:18), "devil" (Matt. 4:1), "adversary"

The entire creation of a "dark figure" in Christian mythology is a hodgepodge of mistranslations, blatant additions (aka lies), and non-understanding of the original Old Testament and/or the original New Testament.

Satan... Lucifer? Christians have no idea what in the hell they're talking about. (pun intended)

Lucifer is a Latin and Greek based word meaning "Light Bearer."

Lucifer was the name given to the 'Morning Star', which is the planet Venus. It is called the Morning Star because it appears above the eastern horizon before sunrise.
