Forgive me if this has been posted, but neither an ats search nor google brought results.

I'm no HAARP Status expert, but I have never heard of or seen the status "Ionosophere Bake". It is just a blacked out screen with red letters where the map usually is. For the past couple of days, including today, Arkansas has been climbing in magnitude. But now this. Can anyone shed some light on this. I haven't yet formed an opinion about HAARP Status, so feel free to state your opinions regarding its legitimacy. My primary concern though is what this means and if anyone has seen it before. I think it may just be offline due to the solar storm as that affects the ionosphere. Also, because I couldn't find anything on google, it may be a HAARP Status term. If this is the case maybe they should change it to something that doesn't look dangerous. No need for black background with red letters and the term bake, just a simple "satellites offline."

either this is what haarp has been up to the past 3 days as reported by
www.haarp.alaska.edu...

...or it's obamas polygraph...

you be the judge

take into account the flair and any added effect it might have had.

I read the description of the graph, but I don't understand the implications, aside from high absorption may be due to geomagnetic storm. Would you care to educate me? Also, does this tie into the Ionosphere Bake. And last, from reading, it seems if the satellites go offline due to solar storm, it only grays out the affected area. I haven't read anywhere of this message with a full blackout.

i am by no means properly educated in the subject my self. im learning solo while raising a family.
after that being said

IMO haarp status was dead on with the last storms. i dont think this one had any effect on the site.
my land line still works so i cant see any reason for the site content to be down. it's just a program to visualise
the data fed into it. i go with haarp.edu first the check my collection of secondary sites witch are NOAA, EDIS, the SOHO NASA site among a few others. haarp status included.

like i said im still working with what i have maybe we can all educate each other and figure this out.

we are trying to get a haarp forum going www.abovetopsecret.com...

your support in that matter might lead to some education on all of our parts.

I was going to ask my question in that forum but thought I would get quicker replies in a new thread. I hope someone watches for the 2hz (I think it was) that started at midnight a year ago today and persisted through the 11th.

odd as this is going to sound. you cant talk about haarp in that thread.
lol it is to only talk about a haarp forum. as you will read we had gotten
reprimanded for talk to loud in the library. lol but the talk still goes on from time to time there.
not sure how we will know if they add the forum.

peeing in the dark a guess

.... the first rule about haarp is you dont talk about haarp
the second rule is....

Well, I think I do. Search for solar storm today/yesterday and you will find an X class flare.
With sun photos and a video, go here:
March 2012 - Largest solar flare 6 years hit Earth today
HAARP does work in the ionosphere and the solar particles pretty much fry it for a day or two. So I guess they're off to a clear day in the Alaskan forest. Hope it did not wreck all the satellites... (I think it is abating.)

The "HAARP Status" website is a load of nonsense, and really little attention should be paid to it.

It reminds me of another person who used YouTube to spread misinformation about HAARP (and other things). If you do an ATS Search for Dutchsinse you will find a lot of hits.

That is his YT account name. He is regarded now as a fraud and hoaxer, just hungry for attention. His over-the-top claims of active volcanoes in the California high desert, a few months back, sealed the reputation for him that many had already been trying to tell his true "fans" and supporters. Even they are catching on, now.

"HAARP Status" has no real science, just more of similar rubbish as Dutchsinse's.

Or, to be more charitable, that site simply misinforms based on what appears to be a (very incorrect) personal opinion.

haha before I read your fight club post, I had already asked my question and was kindly informed over there. I edited it out and voiced my support for the forum.

If you have time, how would one monitor the 2 hz frequency I mentioned earlier?

Thanks for your input. I watched Dutchsinse's videos on smoke plumes recently. I couldn't come to a conclusion on his legitmacy. The area's he mentioned were consistent with HAARP Status, but for a completely unrelated reason that didn't support his claim...yet, I guess I should say.

I haven't read a clear scientific explanation yet, not to say that there isn't one as you say. Are you saying that the believers only believe because of a couple coincidences?

I'd say that is a very good way to put it....coincidences.

HAARP is designed solely to excite the ionosphere. The ionosphere is simply not connected with weather all the way down here (over 50 miles below that level, down here on the surface). About 99% of all weather occurs in the troposphere....from the ground up to 7 or 8 to 11 or 12 miles (roughly) depending on season and latitude above the Equator.

All the weather occurs down here because the vast majority of water vapor in the atmosphere is down here.

The "top" of the troposphere is a boundary layer, in between it and the stratosphere.....this boundary is called the tropopause. Literally, it is defined as the point where adiabatic lapse rate cooling stops...where temperature no longer drops with increase in height....for a while, then the lapse trend reverses in the stratosphere.

To be absolutely precise, in Wiki they quote from the "World Meteorological Organization" definition:

The boundary between the troposphere and the stratosphere, where an abrupt change in lapse rate usually occurs. It is defined as the lowest level at which the lapse rate decreases to 2 °C/km or less, provided that the average lapse rate between this level and all higher levels within 2 km does not exceed 2 °C/km.

Wiki - Tropopause

Note that in the troposphere the "standard" lapse rate is 2° C per 1,000 feet. Also note that one kilometer (km) is about 3,280 feet. So, normally in a vertical rise of one km, with a standard lapse rate in the troposphere, the temperature would decrease by about 6° C.

So the tropopause is a "lag zone" in essence.

OK, the point of all that was background to explain that when it comes to the ionosphere, it is not what we (who live here where we can breathe) would consider "atmosphere" by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, at the point (roughly ~50 miles/80 km) where the ionosphere begins, it is defined by NASA as the "beginning" of space. For NASA, they will grant a person Astronaut status for achieving flight to that height.

The International Aviation Organization considers the "beginning" of space to be at 100 km (62 miles). So, there is a quibble there.....

....but not pertinent. Just mentioned to differentiate our atmosphere, and our weather, from the ionosphere....which is really a layer of charged free electrons. Very tenuous, but not quite a vacuum. Almost, though.

HAARP can only affect this region, the ionosphere. HAARP's power output isn't really all that strong, and there is attenuation at the distance the EM radiation (radio waves, basically) must travel....they weaken by the time they arrive.

Although there are some papers online that I've found mentioning studies showing that the tropopause may seem to have a minor effect on the Ionosphere, the reverse is not the case....I've found no papers suggesting this.

The papers mentioned above about the ionosphere reacting to the lower portions of the atmosphere are recent, and I think they are still unconfirmed.

Here is more reading about the atmosphere make-up from University at Albany, NY. (Was one that showed up in a recent web search....there are many more similar sources).

Very well done. I would give you two stars if I could. It seems the ionosphere can only affect "space weather" such as solar activity, geomagnetic storms and the likes, which in turn can affect life on earth (communication disruptions, auroras,etc..), but CANNOT (as far as we know) influence weather events as claimed. Thank you! Now I can participate in HAARP discussions.
